It started in 2006, late spring / early summer. Me and an Italian classical pianist, a friend of mine, were having a glass of wine and she was telling me about her recent journey to Cuba. I was about to release my 3rd album with Amateur God project and she was concluding her piano-teaching season. Anyway. Our conversation gradually turned into the idea that we could work together on some musical project. I've had in mind something that could suit both of us - a scratch for upcoming style that would combine heavy rock, classical music and electronica.We were then talking about it for several weeks to come, gathering reflections and considerations. It turned out that she was more keen on playing Debussy than spending her time in the studio. Her funeral enthusiasm towards our common work was exactly something I didn't need. It was then obvious to me that I will continue the project on my own with help of some other extra musicians and sound engeneers...The idea of El Soter project was not meant to be based solely on music and the concept described in the initial paragraph, but also projected onto the visual side that would fulfill the sound and merge it into a global and distinguishing image. This is a foundation stone for the upcoming expressive and promotion tools like website, video, live performances and more.
