NEW RELEASES - 3/11/08
Dillinger Four CIVILWAR After a seemingly infinite absence, the Midwest’s most influential band, DILLINGER FOUR, have delivered their long-promised fourth proper full-length. The release of C I V I L W A R marks the end of an agonizing 6 year span that fans have endured since the last D4 studio album, and allays the speculations and rumors that have been bubbling just below the surface of the indie music scene for the past few years. No longer merely a tantalizing enticement ruminated over endlessly on message boards, C I V I L W A R is finally here and worth every second of the interminable wait. From the opening note of the first track it’s blatantly apparent that the guys in D4 haven’t lost a step. C I V I L W A R is littered with irresistible hooks, driven by a blast of raw sound, and accented by dueling lead vocals peppered with Erik and Paddy’s sharp lyrical witticisms. Imagine equal parts drunken demolition derby and sweaty basement dance party, and that will start to give you a feel for the 13 brand new songs. Doubtlessly, C I V I L W A R will be met with the same critical acclaim that has become synonymous with D4’s work. The band will be touring relentlessly through the end of 2009, kicked off by an East Coast Tour with NOFX that coincides with the release, and marked by appearances at CMJ and SXSW, as well as hitting Europe and Japan. DILLINGER FOUR will also be making their first ever video, which will be premiered as a feature on Myspace Music!

Stigma New York Blood Vinny Stigma, "The Godfather of Hardcore" has been a pillar of the punk community since the early 80s, founding the legendary Agnostic Front, being a member of Madball and playing guitar on countless, classic records. With "New York Blood," his first solo record, Vinny steps to the forefront! "New York Blood" is chock full of punk rock anthems that will have people pounding beers and singing along after the first listen! What started as a conversation between Vinny Stigma and Jamey Jasta (Hatebreed) on tour back in 2003, has materialized into a modern punk rock classic and full band (featuring Mike Gallo, Agnostic Front). "New York Blood" was produced by Jamey Jasta and Phil Caivano (former guitarist of Monster Magnet, who also engineered and played guitar on the record) and was mixed and mastered by Zeus (Hatebreed, Agnostic Front, Shadow's Fall).

Swingin Utters Hatest Grits: B Sides And Bullshit A long time stalwart of the street punk genre, the SWINGIN’ UTTERS have amassed an impressive discography since their first release in 1992. Consisting of 8 full-lengths and countless EP’s, singles, and splits, their catalog is a testament to the prolific songwriting abilities of Darius Koski and Johnny Bonnel. Despite the sheer volume of their extensive resumé, the UTTERS have managed to compile 26 more tracks to make up their latest release, Hatest Grits: B-Sides and Bullshit. As implied by the title, the album contains plenty of rare b-sides, but it doesn’t stop there. Hatest Grits also boasts five unreleased songs, as well as some never before heard demo versions of SWINGIN’ UTTERS classics. You didn’t hear it from us, but it’s even rumored to have six bonus songs that don’t appear in the official track listing. Clearly, Hatest Grits is a must have album for any of the SWINGIN’ UTTERS’ legion of faithful fans. Throughout their illustrious career the UTTERS have consistently drawn comparisons to punk legends Stiff Little Fingers and folk icons The Pogues; each of the 26 songs on Hatest Grits are a shining example of why.

Born From Pain Survival After the war you have to struggle to survive! Talking about BORN FROM PAIN that means: After “War” there is “Survival”! Talking about the planet we inhabit that means: It is devastated, on the brink of extinction. Chaos, destruction and war are everywhere. The government doesn't care about the simple man. Crises afflict almost every country on Earth. Nature fights for its rights, the same as the nameless man in the ghettos. Terror lurks behind each street corner. The World is mutating into a global battlefield. Yet the European masters of metallic hardcore won't put up with all this. Their unmistakable outcry denouncing the evils of our society bears the name “Survival” and is almost overflowing with rage, aggression and brutality. The word “uncompromising” has got a new synonym: BORN FROM PAIN! While their last two albums, “In Love With The End” and “War”, were widely praised in the scene already, their new masterpiece will be the crowning achievement of an evolution which has included ceaseless tours with bands such as SIX FEET UNDER and HATEBREED, constant headlining shows and appearances at ALL European festivals. No one could sound any more pissed off than new frontman Rob (formerly on bass). No band could sound more massive than these eleven tracks!

No Harm Done Escape NO HARM DONE began in 2004 with the members of the band merely teenagers just trying to get their feet in the door of the punk and hardcore scene. Age didn't stop them as they racked up miles with ten self-booked tours within the US, self-released records, and later released a full length and EP on Anchorless Records. The band has played hundreds of shows and has shared the stage with many well-established acts including PAINT IT BLACK, AGAINST ALL AUTHORITY, and BOY SETS FIRE. With a few years under their belt and the addition of member Charles Chaussinand (MAKE OR BREAK and Get Outta Town Records), the band is now a little bit older and wiser and has undoubtedly found their niche as they turn heads in every city they play. Evidence of this progression can be found with their debut release on Think Fast! Records entitled Escape, recorded at The Outpost (DROPKICK MURPHYS, OUTBREAK, BLOOD FOR BLOOD).

Dead To Me Little Brother After blasting onto the scene with their fantastically popular debut release, Cuban Ballerina, DEAD TO ME are back with their second offering, Little Brother. Where some bands might falter under the pressure of writing a sophomore release after receiving endless accolades from critics and fans alike, DEAD TO ME thrived. Utilizing their collective talents and experience gained while playing in such varied bands as One Man Army, Heavens, and Western Addiction, DEAD TO ME have crafted another masterpiece. Little Brother is a five song EP that accomplishes the seemingly impossible task of surpassing the lofty heights that their first full length attained. The album is saturated with unforgettable melodies, earnestly belted out by the dueling lead vocals of Jack and Chicken, and as a whole, displays the band’s maturation and songwriting prowess. Little Brother is a captivating ride that grabs the listener from the first note and resonates well after the last chord rings out.

Der Fluch Im Dorf Der Verdammten The Godfathers of German Gothic are back! Der Fluch (engl. “The Curse”) celebrated a thriumphant return to the stage at the world’s largest Goth-Festival “Wave-Gotik-Treffen” in Leipzig this year after a self-imposed Quarter-Century hiatus. The band’s first album was released in 1981 and that year saw the only and now legendary show of the cult-band that formed around famous German Punk-Singer Deutscher W. (main-man for Punk-legend “OHL”). Shortly afterwards the band was laid to rest and was only reanimated to record three studio-albums in the early 90s, before falling apart again. Since 1981, Der Fluch’s classic songs like “Halb Mensch, Halb Tier”, “Rattengift” or “Hexen leben länger” have become dancefloor-fillers and are among the favourite songs of the Deathrock- and Gothic-Crowd. Fiendforce is proud to welcome one of Germany’s most important bands back to the living and celebrates this with a re-recording of all the classic tracks that the fans have come to love. PLUS: For the first time in more than ten years, Der Fluch has recorded three all new songs in the vain of their old masterpieces. And now they invite you into the village of the damned. Take the best of Misfits, The Cramps, The Damned and Screaming Jay Hawkins plus the atmosphere of classic Universal and Hammer Horror-movies and you know what Der Fluch sounds like!
