About me? Delicious Mocha? I was born and raised in the borough of the Bronx. Coming from a family of performers, it was my destiny to follow in their footsteps.Singing came as easy to me as breathing and I did so even before I could form words..I started singing as many artists did, in the church choir at the age of four. At five I was playing the piano by ear and later writing songs at the age of seven.Always too shy to perform in front of crowds I was always in the background. I didn't begin to lose the shyness until I was 15 and the choir director forced my to sing a solo in a song. That was the start of it all. I began to perform every chance I got, for my family, in the stairwells for my friends, in school and city talent shows..Always coming close but never quite making it..Amost signed to this label, scouted by that label..I hooked up with a few people, recorded a few tracks, sang a few hooks, and did a few mix tapes but it never went very far. After years of meeting "producers" and "industry" people that had no intentions of helping me musically, I stopped writing. I lost my focus and my passion for music.It's been over two years since I have recorded and I am looking to get back to work. I don't have the drive or the passion I once did, but music is in my heart. I don't want God to take my talent away. I've had no formal training...so I may be a lil rough around the edges..lolThe songs on this page are basically rough drafts of songs that were never quite finished. ENJOY!!!! *kisses*
