Come join me in creating the Black Literature Renaissance...it's overdue!

About Me

I'm a black man. I'm a writer. I'm from Jersey. I'm new to this MySpace ish. I plan to change black literature and so-called urban, street, Hip Hop literature the same way Jordan changed the game of basketball. Not only did he have baller's trying to fly, but he got them to loosen up their uniforms and let down those tight a__ shorts. Let's fly and tighten up, then loosen up our literature. I know I'm a lil' cocky, but I'm confident. I love black people and I love black literature so I grind for what I love.Debut novel is on the way...stay tuned. Also, be on the look out for excerpts of the book as my moods swing.Check out the blogs and engage me in productive dialouge.Peace

Police brutality vs. Self brutality

It's no secret that American police have been unjustifiably brutalizing black people since when they first seized us from Africa. However, what's increasingly alarming, amazing, and disheartening...

Is Hip Hop supposed to be mad at Oprah?

Why are rapper's taking shots at a non-emceee; someone old enough to be some of their mothers; a positive black woman; a powerful black woman; a role model, etc.? Where was the public outcry...
