About Me

"Renowned World Traveler!", "Visionary", "Eccentric"...
I've managed to go alot of places and do many things important to me. I'll never be monetarily rich, unless I hit the lottery. ( Or I can find 200,000 people to each give me $5 )
I have a sense of humor... I'm not 'religious', I'm 'spiritual'. (!!!)

Actually, I'd like to meet everyone who is interested in bettering themselves and the world in general. We need to find a way to stop the destroyers who want to tear down what they do not like or even understand.

My friends are those genuinely close to me or those whose work I really enjoy and feel other people should know about.

Music:

I like all sorts of music, the whole range of rock, classical, j-pop, c-pop, bluegrass, folk just about anything that is not and I mean not (C)rap or 'crying in your beer' country.
X & X Japan is the best music I've run across in more than ten years- it is too bad they had already disbanded and events (hide's death) have made a reunion impossible...
Faye Wong has a tremendous voice in any language she decides to sing in(4 that I know of)!
There are many problems in the music industry today, greed being a big one; much of the music is way overplayed, other equally good music never gets airtime.
The 'industry' is trying to legislate their profits, not to benefit the artists, but to fill corporate coffers.
How many times are consumers suppose to pay for the same music? I certainly wish I could be paid again and again for work I did 15 or 20 years ago, or even last year.
The corporate big-wigs need to understand they no longer have the monopoly they once had, and they need to adjust their business planing. Trying to eliminate their competition through legislation and industry regulation, unfair and unequal royalty policies is not the answer.
That applies to the movie industry also....
