Harrison Ford EP now available at Eclipse Records!

About Me

THE HARRISON FORD EP IS NOW AVAILABLE AT ECLIPSE RCORDS ON UNIVERSITY AVENUE, AND ANY SHOW MNSKA PUTS ON!
The origin of our line-up formed in 2006, and consisted of Mike, Steve, Robin, Maurice, Francomb, and Zac. They we're having trouble finding guitar and drums, but Steve talked to a friend about playing guitar in a band, and Peter jumped aboard. Still missing drums, they were sunk in terms of shows. But then, Steve was at the Hillcrest battle of the bands, and he met a young skankin' man during the Skastronauts set, and found he played drums. RJ was glad to join, for he had been trying to form his own ska band for quite some time.
With the line-up at 8 members, and only having 5 show up to any practices, action went into full effect, and we were knocked down to 5 members. Also at that time Peter let us know he would prefer to play in another band, so he agreed to play until we could find a replacement. We also tried finding another horn or two to fill the void, but came up short with a guitarist and a trumpeteer who only lasted 1/2 a practice, until a girlfriend and a punch to the face came into play.
Then along comes Kabel Lefto, friend of Robin and RJ, and drummer of EZ Street West. When at one of our practices, he clued us in on EZ Streets "Break-Up" so we asked if he would like to join, and he gladly accepted and gladly takes responsibility for some booking, and all the band's flatulence. kinda. After heavy pondering, RJ realized that his long term friend played a trombone, and he asked if he would like to show up for a practice and see how things went. Alex agreed and trombone was added.
THEN! A local ska band, Johnny Cool Man, broke up, and SKA's members discussed approaching the tenor sax player about his great talent, and as soon as you know it, Aren was on board.
At 7 piece, you couldn't hope for much better.....well...you couldn't....BUT WE COULD!.... We're looking for a trumpet player, but for now that leaves us at an 7 piece party! enjoy!
