Sounds Like: Crap mixed with Leftover Crack, Choking Victim, Operation Ivy, Capdown,Common Rider, Citizen Fish,Link 80, Catch 22, Suicide Machines, Against All Authority, X-Ray Spex, Sonics, Bomb the Music Industry, and shit. There's something about heavy distortion and a horn section that makes me feel like jumping in the middle of a pit. Offend Your Friends, with screaming, hard ass vocals, is a perfect example. Some songs tend to sound more like a bunch of guys pissed off at their dads (American Inquisition), but some lean towards a ska influence (Morales), with an awesome horn section, and just gives you the need to dance. If you've ever put in a Sex Pistols or an Exploited Lyrics CD, you'd know that good punk doesn't require grade A vocals, and it really adds to that "I'm a friggin' rebel" feel. This band has that feeling, and I think it's essential in a society where good punk music is dying out.-Kelly B. (4/7/06)
