About Me

Copyright Sagar Nadgir, 2007.
A project of mine (Sagar Nadgir). During the time I was in Rapture Cabaret in Summer 2006, a side project was developed for writing material unsuitable for the current band. Gradually, more and more complex material was written, and with the help of a friend (Eddie Hash aka Anavax) a good drum machine, synth software, and recording program was acquired. So there's the origin of material and recording. Remnants, the upcoming CD was recorded (everything except vocals) in December 2006. Vocals were finished January 2007, and members were found a month later. Lyrical themes are focused on biology and disease as they relate to the human condition.
My goal in all of this is to write death metal/black metal that has enough progressive elements to keep things interesting and to just have some fun playing local gigs.
All songs are recorded using Acoustica Beatcraft/Reason 3.0 for drum machine drums, Reason 3.0 for synth, Guitar Pro 5.1 for organizing/writing, Audacity to record.
Equipment:
Ibanez RGA121 with PAF pro/X2N, Ibanez RG220B with Dimarzio Pickups, Ibanez SR406 bass, Warwick Corvette Standard fretless. Peavey JSX for guitar and Ibanez IBZ10 practice amp for bass (yes, I'm serious). The Remnants EP was recorded using a B-52 LG-100A (solid state head), and a PC mic.
