Steve Eads is an instrumental guitarist currently based in the Richmond VA area, that values the song above the vulgar display of chops. "There are so many people out there who can really play, but it seems like they have a hard time doing it within the context of melody, and isn't that what it's really about? The song?" Steve's music is written with the idea of taking the listener on a journey, giving them an experience. "Music is so powerful," Steve says, "It can take you anywhere, make you feel anything. It can take you back in time, make you believe you can fly!"The music written for "Intelligent Design," Steve's upcoming release, is designed to move the listener into a place where they can experience the presence of God in new ways. Progressive Warfare Worship, as Steve calls it. "The great thing about this is that with the absence of lyrics, the music becomes very personal. God can really take you where He wants to take you without the words tellling you where to go."The music on Intelligent Design is also designed to be taken outside the walls of the church. "Another great thing is that I can take this music anywhere, and it can function evangelistically and without a word being spoken. People can be touched by God without really even realizing it, in a venue where they weren't expecting it. I can go into a venue, play my set, and never say a word, and people can walk away with something on the inside. Once you've had a touch from God, you are never the same, whether you realize it or not!"Steve currently lives in the Richmond, VA area with his wife and 4 children, and serves as the Worship Pastor at The Father's House Church in Richmond.
