About Me

BLOODLINE SEVERED "VISIONS REVEALED" Featuring Derek Corzine on 6- 7- 8-string, fretless guitar and vocals out April 28th on Bombworks Records!Endorsed by Halo Custom GuitarsI have increasingly become a huge fan of instrumental music. I find a few bands that are absolutely phenomenal in their composition and can actually hold the listener's attention. These are the ones that have influenced me greatly on writing instrumental music. In this project, I had a funny idea of a way to put lyrics into instrumental music.Someone asked me, "How on earth can you put words with music that has no singing?"The answer is simple: MORSE CODEFor those of you unfamiliar with Morse code, it is a rhythmic series of dashes and dots that translate into letters and numbers, forming words, sentences, etc. (SOS=..._ _ _ ...). The result of some of the morse code translated into music form played a certain style can be reminiscent of bands like Meshuggah or Rush's "YYZ."All lyrics are faith-based, as I am a strong believer in Jesus Christ and dedicate all my talents to His glory.I hope you enjoy! ~DerekCosÿns Myspace Banner
