About Me

Broken Bonez Records was established by Pancho Mendoza (Fixed Idea/ Ambivalent) and Mike Slade (Ambivalent) to promote our bands in Jan. of 2003. In a couple of months we decided to help out Hotrod Boogie who readily agreed to join the label. Our first major thing we decided to do was put out a compilation with other bands we knew and the Broken Bonez Comp. The next step was to hold a battle of the bands to see what our home city of El Paso had to offer. This has been great for the label, because it has open our eyes to the different music around the area. After 4 years, BBR was sold and became part of This Noise Records. Many of the great traditions and services offered by BBR will continue through TNR. The bands that decided to stick around and work with TNR will be recieving their full support.
