Enemy 13

Enemy 13 was forged out of adolescent frustration, boredom, and a shared passion for music. Since 2003, the band has matured into one of El Paso’s top hardcore acts. Armed with an aggressive combination of hardcore, punk, and metal, Enemy 13 channel their anger and frustration with the world around them into music with both a positive message and a sound that is the audible equivalent of being kicked in the teeth. While staying true to the their roots, E13 combine that old school hardcore style with more contemporary melodic vocals, catchy guitar leads, and drumming that leaves the listener in a daze. With stage show that is rivaled by few, E13 hides behind no gimmick, and conforms to no clichés; they just play the music they love and inspire others to share their enthusiasm. They have released a 12 demo entitled “The Great Oppression” and a full-length album on Broken Bonez Records, “Self Destruction Is…” Along with playing shows on a near weekly basis, E13 have completed three tours throughout the southwest. They have held their own with bands and crowds of all types, from Hardcore Punk to death metal. Anyone there at the beginning of a set is there at the end. After taking a short break from the scene to focus on writing new material, Enemy 13 is now armed to the eyeballs with new songs, a new guitarist, more energy than ever before, and the will to take the scene by storm…again.
