THANKS AND FAREWELL!

About Me

Sadly, Le Ballet is no longer a band. Special thanks to: Marcie, Ilissa, Jenny, the Johnson family for the incredible support and for coming to almost every show, the Moser family for buying the first synthesizer and the support, the Bond family for letting the band make so much noise in the basement, our friends, Kamtin & the other guys from The Vanity [R.I.P.] for unknowingly pushing us further and further in the early times, The Axe That Chopped The Cherry Tree for inspiring us, The Masquerade Scene for being such a loving group of guys, Jackson from The Garage for giving us a place to play anytime we wanted, and everybody else who has made an impact on Le Ballet."Intertwining electro-funky beats and monotone vocals, Le Ballet rivals bands like She Wants Revenge and The Killers. The local band has the sound to compete, but has yet to break into the big time. People have been fascinated by the lackluster voices mixed with wild piano, Moog-style synthesizers and high-energy drums."-- Cassie Hood [The Metropolitan]"If I had to compare Denver's current state of music to anything, it would probably be to a steaming pot waiting to explode. I haven't been this excited about a local act in a while. Look at their influences in their myspace page... Depeche Mode alone did it for me, but than they had to add Talking Heads and Human League. And you thought electro was dead! What separates Le Ballet from everybody else? Synth! Synth! and more Synth! The creative use of synth, howling drums, and maniacal voice pushes Le Ballet over the top with pulsating success!"--Julio Enriquez [The Hype Machine] WE SUPPORT:
