my name is darrin and i have bipolar disorder (its super glamorous). i run this entire thing myself.
memphis is for artists of all kinds and gamers.
i started memphis when i was 15.
i don't make much money, so most items will be only printed 40 at a time (only about 6 per size) so they do sell out fast.
i don't spam people with comments about my new lines, and any exposure i have has been gained by word of mouth or people discovering me on their own (they're nice).
i try to put effort into my designs (even if it might not show).
There are a lot of companies who just put out a product and expect money to come in. i just do it because i want to be original and make cool clothing. i would love to make money from this but i probably won't.
i've probably invested like 6 times the amount of money i've actually made.
i support animal rights but don't expect me to ever print my clothing on American Apparel because their clothing is way too expensive for such shitty quality.
i design everything i have myself and plan on running everything on my own (except the stores).
