"T-COM as they tend to call themselves, aren’t the only band to come out of Greeley as of late, but they do have a unique distinction. In a city of one hundred thousand that is nearly thirty percent Hispanic, Latino or Mexican; T-COM fits largely into that demographic. Mixing punk, pop, Latin, jazz and whatever else strikes their fancy, they create a sound that is pretty unique, in a music industry filled with clones. T-COM is accessible and available. They don’t pass airs of being rock stars, and they don’t try to make themselves out to be something that they aren’t. They are just a few guys from Greeley that have a shared love of music and a desire to create an amazing band.
Their stage presence puts them into decidedly punk territory. David twitches and fronts around the stage like some mix between David Byrne and B-Real. While Spear belies his normal silence by backing up with some of the gruffest backup vocals that you could ever hope for. Aaron shows off his skill on the guitar; a formidable skill it is considering the fact that he is less that twenty years old. And Oliver is just a madman on the drums. All of those hours of listening to jazz have made him brilliant. They are singing to the crowd, giving them a message. Their lyrics are indictments of the very crowd they are playing to. Kids that think they are to hip to move around and get lost in the energy of the band. Lyrics that tell the kids standing around that their scene is dead and that they need to find a way to re-energize that scene before it is lost to them."
