I have been living in Toronto, Canada for the past 8 years, originally from Uzbekistan (:D if that means anything to you.) I used to listen to hip–hop and all kinds of music until 2.5 years ago when my good buddy Ivan brought me to a club called The Guvernment, where I understood that all my life I was looking for something and found it. It was electronic music, especially HOUSE.
At the same club I met my drumming teacher Esteban who taught me all I know now. Some people start learning how to play an instrument and keep dreaming about performing in a big place where lots of people will be listening. For me it was the other way around thanks to Esteban, who by that time was bringing his bongo to the club and playing it on many occasions. I touched the drum for the first time already in there. I don’t know if it was destiny or just luck, but after a couple of weeks I was approached by a DJ JQ who was playing in the famous Comfort Zone, who asked me if I would like to join him and play my bongo during his set. That is how my drumming career started.Even back then I was really interested in Djing. I was always watching and trying to understand what those guys in the booth are really doing. I was so amazed that I bought myself a set of Numark turntables and started learning. Since then I changed from Turntables to CD players and my skills got way better. I even played on the Summer's End Boat cruise that was organized by my friends. My life is closely associated with House music. I still play my drum and am increasing my Djing skills, and I am really hoping to come up with something good in the future by combining the two. Hoping to make an interesting show and bring it out to the people.
