MAVRYX is a genre-free night running events in various venues across London with originality & diversity as our guide for booking artists. We avoid trends and open the stage to a varied array of musicians each night. Acts at our events are generally different from each other, and we are able to challenge our audience by luring them in with one while exposing them to another...
History
Started spontaneously in Spring 2005 as a low key monthly at the Foundry where we hosted and got to know great acts, concentrating mainly on interesting electronica acts from the mellow to the experimental as long as they had something new to say. Then, early 2006 saw us moving to the Spitz head on with more grandiose ideas which resulted in MAVRYX transforming into a night, which hosted amazing live acts as well as live visual artists and DJs. In 2007 we will be residing at Corsica Studios and the Ritzy Café brewing an ever evolving bill for you listening and viewing pleasures!
