A thorough-bred-flea-bitten Electro duo based in Brighton/London. Will make you want to weep AND piss at the same time into your current meal and/or beverage.
DeadDogInBlackBag was formed in 2006 with H-J and Ami. They worked together professionally for just over a year and a half, and have already gained a strong fanbase which includes dance act Basement Jaxx and the cast of comedy "The Mighty Boosh" (look out for DDIBB in the Series 3, out on DVD on 11 Feb 2008)
Self-produced, written and recorded, Ami & Holly-Jane showed that being in a band involves talent, a lot of hard work and not just image! And with quirky, funny, matter-of-fact lyrics, they have gained fans from 15 to 50 years old - showing no boundaries where catchy songs and comedy is combined!
They have recently been played on Radio 1 on Steve Lamacq's "In New Music We Trust" and performed alongside bands such as Robots In Disguise and Alloy Mental.
Now the Dog is undergoing a reshuffle, with an exciting new lineup and new material bubbling up inside the Dog's pipeline/colon....! Watch this space for updates and new gigs to be listed! The Dog is not Dead!
Remember.... Dog-Eggs are only for the strong at heart......

Review By Rotero Magazine
"Life is full of pleasent suprises. The electronica scene in the UK is one of the strongest in the world. We got everything here, and a lot of that everything is good! Just when you think you have covered a genre with a few fantastic bands, another pops out of electronicas crotch, or perhaps chest. Dead Dog In Black Bag are who I speak of, and they are not for the feint of heart! Who could ever believe that these two flowers of gentle womanhood could produce such sexy beats and synth sounds, very well produced too! Crunchy , a little dirty and a good dose of bass, DDIBB are perfect for a hot night, but thats not all. For these two angelic looking women's lyrics could blow the tatoos off a dirty sailor. Listen out (If you dare) for the line "Take off your socks" in their track 'Love Meat' and prepare yourselves! Here at Rotero, we have all fallen in love with this band, they sure put smiles on our faces! Such debauchery! Such lyrical filth! We love it! DDIBB are a band that have risen from instant prejudice to already having a huge cult following, they will go far! But again, dont just take my word for it! " [DeadDogInBlackBag]..Will make you want to weep AND piss at the same time into your current meal and/or beverage"
And yes, all of us here are now wondering how many places you can hide a sausage.
Hours of fun!"

"Why? Because you can't argue with a marvellous slice of electro-pop with a chorus that goes "Ooh, gimme your love meat, I can't deny that I want it inside, ooh, gimme your big pink treat..." and then bangs on about sausages, well-hung men, bare bottoms and features the immortal line: "Take off your socks, unleash your cock."It's the work of Brighton duo DeadDogInBlackBag (yes, that possibly needs work), who claim they "will make you want to weep AND piss at the same time into your current meal and/or beverage". You can hear Love Meat in its full glory on their MySpace page. If Girls Aloud covered it, it'd be number one for months. Possibly. One of their other tunes, The Mottled Scars Of Rabies, ain't half bad either."

Brighton's filthy gorgeous electro sirens Ami and Holly-Jane bring you their spandex-tastic curvacious live show. Mixing innocence of image and some of the sexiest lyrics to hit the pop world this year, this female fronted double act proudly bounce up and down the stage in skin-tight outfits bringing boys to their knees and girls into their fold. Not to be missed.
