About Me

ALWAYS UNDER CONSTRUCTION.
A.A.N.O. (animals are not ours)
We are a group that is for the humane treatment of animals. Were not telling you that you are wrong for eating meat, we are here to educate everyone of what goes on, and of the horrid torture that these animals go through each and every day for humans.
VEGETARIANS MAKE BETTER LOVERS.
Animals are capable of feeling happiness, love, sadness, fear, pain and any other emotion humans can feel and we strive to get that information upon people so that they are informed and can help end the suffering of these beautiful beings.
[Animals] were not made for humans any more than black people were made for whites or women for men. Alice Walker
MySpace Layouts at PimpThisSpace.netANIMAL LIBERATION IS STRONGLY LOOKED DOWN UPON. Animals deserve to live just as any other being in the world was meant to. They WERE NOT put here for your taste buds, experiments, fashion, or entertainment. And for those who say that the bible says animals were here for food, well if "God" is such a superior being that loves so strongly, he would much rather see love, life and happiness opposed to pain, suffering and unfairness. Also, just in case you were not informed of this, MEAT IS THE #1 CAUSE FOR HEART DISEASE, and many other diseases as well.
The human appetite for animal flesh is a driving force behind virtually every major category of environmental damage now threatening the human future: deforestation, erosion, fresh water scarcity, air and water pollution, climate change, biodiversity loss, social injustice, the destabilization of communities, and the spread of disease. World Watch
Many people are starved, tortured and treated as useless things. I never understood why those people think it is unfair for them to be treated so harshly as they eat animals that were in the same position as them.
If anyone wants to save the planet, all they have to do is just stop eating meat. That's the single most important thing you could do. Paul McCartney
Ranch-raised foxes are kept in cages only 2.5 feet square (minks in cages 1-foot-by-3-feet), with up to four animals per cage.
Animals can languish in traps for days. Up to 1 out of every 4 trapped animals escapes by chewing off his or her own feet, only to die later from blood loss, fever, gangrene, or predation.
Every year, thousands of dogs, cats, raptors, and other so-called "trash" animals (including endangered species like the bald eagle) are crippled or killed by traps.
To kill the animals without damaging their fur, trappers usually strangle, beat, or stomp them to death. Animals on fur farms may be gassed, electrocuted, poisoned with strychnine, or have their necks snapped. These methods are not 100 percent effective and some animals "wake up" while being skinned.
According to a study by Ford Motor Company engineer Gregory H. Smith, it takes almost three times as much energy to make a coat from trapped animals' pelts—and 40 times as much from ranch-raised furs—than it does to make a fake fur coat.
