LILIANA

...all my dreams are strange...

About Me

I SUPPORT BARACK OBAMA!!!

My beloved Sonja and me in Zurich.

Wanna go to the beach with me?!?

Writing about Steel Panther was fun.
Steel Panther ARE fun!

The last videoclip I was in before leaving Milan.

My Interests

Artistic gymnastic.
From six to sixteen I was a lot into it and I still enjoy watching the competitions. There's something breathtaking about acrobatics -- something that I did not feel at all when back in Italy I had to watch those stupid soccer games all the Italian guys are obsessed by, instead.
Here there's a picture of Nadia Comaneci, who was one of the best gymnasts in history:

-Ballet is my new beloved sport.

-Reading and writing.

-Kundalini Yoga -- I love it, even if I don't practice it lately and this is why I'm an hysterical bitch all the time.

-Laughing, laughing and laughing - this is what I like.

-Spending time playing at the beach with Bella, a beautiful, beautiful dog, and with Cooper/Sarpedontino Mio, my neighbors' big Labrador.

-Michael Hussar's paintings; he's so far the best painter of all the times.

-Dannis the cat (why does he ignore me, damn?!?).

-Photography.

-Shooting people (and I do not need a gun for that. Well, not necessarly).

-Provocation.

-Philosophy.

-Twin souls.

-Homeless watching.

-Desperation.

-Anestethics.

-Enjoying a glass of wine (Amarone Zenato preferably) in the garden or by the pool with a few friends... well, I can actually also drink by myself, if we want to tell it all, but after that I usually prance naked, wherever I am.

-Eating good food in good restaurants -- though, I'm a vegetarian.
Why am I a vegetarian? I think this next video is the shameful answer: I ADORE ANIMALS AND I HOPE WITH ALL MY HEART THAT ONE DAY HUMAN BEINGS WILL STOP ABUSING THEM.
THAT DAY IS WHEN HUMAN BEINGS CAN START CONSIDERING THEMSELVES REALLY "HUMAN."

I see very well what our human nature is all about.
I have always had a painful and at the same time very entertaining gift for that. Though, I have never given up on dreaming. I am actually all about Dreaming.
And Thinking.
And Loving.
Above all, I am about Loving, even when it takes a huge effort. At least, I try ;-).

I'd like to meet:

BRET EASTON ELLIS

Music:

A love that for sure comes very easy to me is the one for my little I-Pod. This is what I put in there: Aereosmith, Alice Cooper, A Fine Frenzy, Avenged Sevenfold, The Beatles, The Boomtown Rats, Edoardo Bennato, Berlin, Blue October, Bon Jovi (until 1994), The Clash, David Bowie, Depeche Mode, Bonnie Tyler, Brian Adams, Carly Simon, Cat Stevens, Chris de Burgh, Counting Crows, Creedence Clearance Clearwater, The Cure, Cindy Lauper, Def Leppard, D.H.T., Dire Straits, Dobie Gray, Don Mac Lean, The Eagles, Elton John, Elvis Presley, Eric Clapton, Europe, Extreme, Genitorturers, Gianna Nannini (I adore this Super Lady!), Guano Apes, Guns'N'Roses, James Blunt, Journey, Joan Jett, The Killers, Korn, Led Zeppelin, Lucio Battisti, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Madonna, Motley Crue, Mina, Muse, New Radicals, Laura Pausini, Pearl Jam, Pink Floyd, The Police, The Pretenders, Roxette, The Ronettes, Roy Orbison, Samuel and Garfunkel, Sheryl Crow, Steel Panther, Sublime, Tina Turner, Eros Ramazzotti (until 1996), Vasco Rossi, Train, U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Roberto Vecchioni, The Rolling Stones, Simone, Soul Asylum, Spagna, Supertramp, Todd Rungren, Van Halen, Wham!, Whitney Houston, The Who... and a lot more!

Television:

Television is toxic.
"Desperate Housewives" was ok, but after a while it became too crazy.
Though, "Twin Peaks" was the best thing I have ever seen in my life and it was on Tv.

Books:

-Bret Easton Ellis is definitely my favourite writer but, please, don't ask me what my favorite book of his is.
-"The Interpretation of Dreams" and all the essays of that m.f. genius that Sigmund Freud was.
-"girls" by Nic Kelman is really a jewel.
-"Ocean Sea" by Alessandro Baricco is very cool.
-"Eagles and Angels" by Juli Zeh is phenomenal.
-"A Million Little Pieces" by James Frey is beautiful.
-"Nana" by Emil Zola is a must.
-"Zoo" and "V.M.18" by Isabella Santacroce are very dark, but made of a shining writing.
-"Severed" by John Gilmore is about one of the best Hollywood's characters ever: the Black Dahlia.
-"The Alchemist" by Paulo Cohelo tells a lot about how destiny works.
-"Play It As It Lays" by Joan Didion.
-"Junkie" by William S. Burroughs.
-"Scar Tissue" just because Anthony Kiedis is hot!
-"Paint It Black" by Janet Fitch.
There are a hundred other books I really like, I guess, and one by one I'll try to add them to the list.
This is one of the Italian writer Isabella Santacroce's very peculiar videos:

Heroes:

-All the living creatures that hold on to life, even if I can read on them the scratches of their painful battles.
-Myself, for being still alive and full of passion.
-My Parents: how did they do such a good job? :-)).
-All the people who taught me something and they are really too many to remember. Thanks.
-Edward, my super ballet teacher.
-Melanie Klein: she just didn't let them stop her mind and her job is amazing.
-French lady-writer Simone De Beauvoir.

-Amanda Lear: she just doesn't give a fuck.
-Lory Del Santo: it takes a lot to survive to the death of the things you gave life to and still being ironic, sweet, passionate and sexy at 40 something.
-The pornstars: I don't understand their approach to sex 'cause it's too far from mine, but I admire their ability of killing any form of illusory romance; I wish I could do the same... or maybe not, I don't know.
-The same heroes of David Bowie's song "Heroes"; well, actually David is a hero himself: who's more fascinating than him, after all? So:
