i like to describe them more as passions: in no particular order: music (preferably live) all types. to me there's only two kinds of music; it's either good or bad. also love the game of golf. it bit at around 12 years of age and hasn't let go yet. third is travel. love to put lincoln in the rear view whenever i get the chance. nashville and frisco are my two favorites but i've got kin all over the country so there are a ton more destinations. i'm a cancer so family means more than anything. i'll do about anything as long as it's fun.
open-minded, independent types. we won't get along if you're the type who likes to judge. must have respect and love for others, too. character defects accepted (who doesn't have 'em) but good character a must.
read above. early rock n roll, early country, r&b, soul, early jazz, blues, twang. whatever the mood i'm in, i'll be listening accordingly. i do a radio show once a week on a public station where i play jazz from the 20's, 30's, and 40's. basie, ellington, holiday, armstrong, etc.
anything but horror or slasher. again, depends on the mood. casablanca was the best movie ever; nothing else even close.
not much. some news channels 'cuz i like to keep up with current events but so much journalism these days, if you can even call it that, is too biased. i'll make time for "house". hugh laurie is just too good.
lean toward non-fiction but novels are sometimes fun. right now i have "devil in the white city" within arms' reach. just got done with "hubris" and "smartest guys in the room". glad jeff skilling got time. he just didn't get enough as far as i'm concerned.
the everyday citizen who gets up and hits it hard even though things are stacked against him. have no use for ceo's with golden parachutes. i'm for the little guy.
