Uhh, Thats Baby Makin Music...That's what that is.

About Me

The epic story of The Brandon McDermott Band began to take shape many a moon ago on a small Southeast Texas Island, and it is a tale full of intrigue and mystery. O.k., so maybe not so much of the intrigue and mystery…that was just an attention grabber..sorry. But Brandon did begin playing music and writing songs while attending Texas A&M University, only he didn't start performing until some friends convinced him that he sounded o.k. enough to step onto the stage at an open mic night, but luckily for the world they did. After that, it wasn’t long before he began playing solo acoustic shows at local bars and working his way into the music scene. And now Brandon has joined forces with lead guitar player, and all around talented musician, John Metyko, who has brought a wealth of experience and badassness to the band. Since then, the two have continued to enjoy a growing following, along with an increasing number of regular gigs in and around their hometown of Galveston, TX. So sit back, relax, pop a cold one, and have a listen to the original Texas sounds of the Brandon McDermott Band. And if you get a chance come on out and see us, we’d love to say Howdy. Thanks and Gig ‘em!

Sounds Like: If you were to think of the most glorious sound that could ever be produced...As if Heaven itself were to part the clouds for the briefest of moments and all the Angels gathered to sing their most angelic song, and it was so beautiful that it could only be heard for a single whisper of a moment or the gloriousness of the sound would overwhelm everyone on Earth. Well it doesn't sound anything like that, but if you happen to be drinking (a lot)when you hear it, then you might think it sounds o.k.

Why Playing Music Is Awsome
