NATALIA VON VALKENBURG spent her childhood in a small village outside of Berlin. Her mother, a renowned opera singer, and her father, a music teacher, met at a rehearsal for Handel's Messiah.
Then they had sex in a back alley. Nine months later a new generation of musical talent was born.
Natalia's life's work has revolved around many artistic pursuits: interpretive dance, quilting, drumming, martial arts, piano, and vocal texturization.
BETTY BETTER hails from Columbus, Ohio. She began playing guitar at the tender age of nine and was discovered by a record producer at the State Fair. By fourteen she had recorded three solo albums, "What the Fuck?: Vol. 1", "Friends Don't Come With Benefits", and "Must Be Something In The Water".
She moved to LA at eighteen, where she studied under the tutelage of jazz guitarist Ernie "BeeBop" Brown.
Natalia and Betty met at a self-defense course in LA. After hours of jamming and many cups of tea, ChicBand was formed. Stay tuned for their forth-coming as-yet-untitled album.

LUCIANA "LULU" FERRARI was discovered while milking donkeys at her family's farm in Sicily. She appeared in ads for Dolce and Gabbana, Guess jeans and Ment-a-dent toothpaste. She quit her modeling career in 2001 to follow her then-boyfriend--world-reknowned biomedical engineer, Axel Kieser--back to his hometown of Berlin, Germany, where she supported him in his quest to create artificial limbs for amputee dogs. There she met Natalia and the rest is history. Lulu loves red lipstick, rollerskating, pilates, and baking wedding cakes. All of the proceeds from Lulu's cakes go to the Austrailian Koala Foundation.
