I want to meet down to earth people who have similiar interests as me. Seems I've been having good luck with that lately, and I always love meeting people that have a passion for music.
Has always been a passion of mine. Its always their for me when nothing seems to be going right and its more euphoric than any drug or alcohol, but my favorite genre's are;Soulful house, Jazz, Brazilian Jazz(Bossa Nova), Rock (Hendrix,Metallica) Also Michelle Branch is amazing as well as Norah Jones. Two groups I would buy any Cd of without having to hear it first would be the Brand New Heavies and Jamiroquai. Old school Hip Hop, I mean real hip hop, none of todays radio garbage. My favorite all time groups are De La Soul, Tribe Called Quest, Gangstarr, Digable Planets, Souls of Mischief, Pharcyde, Black Moon, Del the funky Homosapien who's one of the most underated rapper's of all time. My favorite Dj's and inspirations are Ron Trent, Kerri Chandler, Glenn Underground, Osunlade,Ian Friday,DJ Spinna, Timmy Regisford, Kevin Hedge (Blaze), Marques Wyatt, Frankie Feliciano, Mr V, Alix Alvarez, Marlon D,Rich Medina,Aaron Ross, Joe Claussell, Pope and Oji, Andy Compton (The Rurals), local icons David Harness, and Patrick Wilson. Also my friends and mentors Chris Serrano, Albert Campoy, Jaime Gonzalez, Kevin Koga, Jayvi Velasco, Von, Joseph "JoJo" Torres, Julius "the mad thinker" FLX and Monna from Chicago.
Im pretty much a war movie buff, and a star wars dork, and no i dont camp out for the movie before it opens......lol. Last Samurai was awsome, Black Hawk Down, Full Metal Jacket, Rules of Engagement, Tears of the Sun, Band of Brothers, Braveheart, 13th Warrior, Whale Rider and Once were Warriors, (Maori culture fascinates me) and one of my all time favorites Desperado. Cant forget the comedies too. Office Space, Meet the parents...and last but not least any movie from the legend Bruce Lee.
Apprentice is cool....YOUR FIRED!!! America's Next Top Model was good too, damn April was fine...I watch the History Channel a lot too. Now if only I woulda been interested in history in school I woulda passed.
