A Disclaimer: These lists are still considered 'in progress', and not all of these songs are guaranteed to be on any final product of this endeavour.

Movies:

You should watch Donnie Darko...
...and Brotherhood of The Wolf.

Television:

I have three.
The best thing I ever saw on television was The Maxx. That was awesome. I bought the entire series on VHS, but MTV seems to have omitted at least one episode... That makes me sad and angry at the same time.

Books:

There is too much to read... I hate making decisions.

I did particularly like all five parts of The Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy trilogy though. I've enjoyed some of recent history's "fluffier" novels like Anne Rice's Memnoch The Devil and Stephen King's The Green Mile. I also enjoyed some Booker-runners including Yann Martel's Life of Pi and Ian McEwan's Enduring Love. Sherwood Anderson's Winesburg, Ohio was a great collection, though I'm still not sure why I enjoyed it so much. Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series will be the death of me... Then there are all the actual literary, scholarly, and philosophical books and collections that I've read, but I can't remember all of them right now.

Heroes:

Tim Schafer. He designs video games. He designed Monkey Island 1 and 2, Day of The Tentacle, Full Throttle, Grim Fandango, and most recently, Psychonauts. You should play Psychonauts.

Postpartum Depression

I urge all of you to read Charlotte Perkins Gillman's 1899 short story "The Yellow Wallpaper", as it's fucking creepy and really made my skin crawl... Oh, and hurry-up, before the movie comes out!...

The Great Global Warming Swindle and other such importancies...

I quite enjoyed An Inconvenient Truth, and even own a copy of the DVD. It is an interesting and impassioned film that ultimately just wants us humans, as a race, to clean up our acts. It is certainly ...

Avril Lavigne and Christina Aguilera

Anyone notice anything similar about their respective new singles, Girlfriend and Candyman? How they both incorporate backbeats, crowds, and handclaps? Now go and check-out the "Music" section of my p...

"We are..."

The anticipation is palpable, the product is tangible, and the wait is (finally) almost over. I shudder to think that nobody understands how excited I am, or fully comprehends what I mean when I say w...

Not quite fully-developed...

I work weekends in IT service/sales. Every weekend brings at least a few interesting stories with it, and so I'd meant to start an anonymous weekly web log that would detail these occurrences. Perhaps...

Centrino, Viiv, et al.

I just read this article, and kinda chuckled to myself about how the journalist missed the point of Intel's platform branding in his rant. A lot of you may have seen or heard of Intel's Centrino or Vi...
