I am Colonel Akula.Welcome to my page.If I had to summarize the way I view my life it would be Make it happen! If I had to summarize the way in which I view most people it would be Dont get in my way!I am a writer, researcher, self-defence coach, physical trainer, satirist, film critic, voice actor, nutritionist and reptile breeder.I am the self-published author of two books on self-defence entitled Fang and Claw: A Treatise on Practical Combat and Fang and Claw: Striking Techniques which are available for purchase at the CoS EmporiumI am a published author of numerous libertarian, socio-political treatises, Op/Ed articles and humour pieces. I am also the owner and administrator of The Monolith , a forum for the exploration of various political ideas. I have tried my hand at stand-up comedy and occasionally my skills (and bones) to a few independent filmmakers as a stuntman. I am a huge fan of old-school animation and provide voiceover work for small, animated films.However, I am most proud of being a Priest in the Church of Satan .My martial arts background includes but is not limited to Russian SAMBO, Boxing, Muay Thai, Freestyle Wrestling, Kali, Escrima, Tae-Kwon-Do, Judo and Savate. I am a regular S.C.U.B.A. diver who dabbles in bungee jumping, white-water kayaking, rock climbing, off-road mountain biking, skiing, orienteering and archery.I do not drink, detest smoking and take my health extremely seriously.I have a kinship with and unconditionally love all manner of animals. I am the proud papa of a large, personal menagerie that includes pythons, king snakes, corn snakes, boa constrictors, tarantulas, scorpions, geckos, chameleons, Alaskan malamutes and one extremely charming feral cat. For years now, I have worked at animal hospitals and with organizations that promote the responsible care of reptiles.I have travelled all across Eastern Europe, can speak both French and Russian and have a lifelong interest in the story, figure and mysteries of Gregori Rasputin.My favourite foods include Thai, Indian and Mayasian dishes yet I have a weakness for the Italian Tartufo. And the one weakness (well two actually) that I have is for wine gums and redheaded women.Life is too short and I have no interest in wasting my time with plebeian interests and the bland, bloated, carcinogenic, apathetic, wasted North American existence. So if your interests include MTV and anything on prime time then stay away and dont bother me!Every second of my life is a part of history. None of it will be a blank page.HS!!!Colonel Akula.
