I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V4.4Petr MareÅ¡ aka prof. Neutrino from Czech Republic - project creates music and sounds on the edges of the electronical music spectrum. Genre eclecticism and electronic experiments, looking for possibilities of genres as downtempo, abstract hip hop, ambient or post-dub is what could describe it.Nowadays he uses sampling technique and lo-fi aesthetics (clicks, glitches). He works with fragments of well-known music sources remade and thereafter set up to new contexts. Uses field recordings superimposed to rhythm base in so called "cut-up" collages. The Neutrino project started about 1997. Previously prof. Neutrino was a member of Brave New World electro-ambient industrial formation. He played at Hradec Králové Observatory Planetarium and AVU (Academy of Fine Arts) Main Hall in Prague (2000) - sound performance. At the end of last century he took part on a few concerts held by agency Ars Morta Universum.
The label Mufonic Recordinx was founded in 2003. Presentation and publishing of alternative genres of electronic music in Czech Republic and Slovakia is its main focus (first compilations of CZ/SK experimental electronics - Out Of Place Artefacts vol.1. (2004). Neutrino has released also two albums on this label (Seance Fiction, Rhizomatic Sound). Articles about Mufonic was published by Grooves (USA) and Skug (AT) magazines.At the same time he was Awarded authors and performers prize on Malá Alternativa festival in Prague.
The last album Cosmix Songs has been realized by Muteme label in 2006 (under Creative Common licence.) In the meantime he has participated at a few compilations of contemporary electronic music.He is also contributor of music server Freemusic (www.freemusic.cz).
In this time he is working on alternative country hip-hop project COLD-BOY-KLAN and prepare their debut album Stupid White Man - The Last Empire Of Country.
