But in reality space travel and a music career can have its bumps. Richard Kearney Producer / Composer / Astronaut A graduate of Belmont College (now University) in 1989 with his BA in Business and minor in music business, Richard started After 3pm Productions in 1992 after working three years for a music house in Nashville. After the construction of his full-service recording studio in 1996 he changed the name to After 3pm Music.Seen by his peers as a consummate professional, Richard has adopted a no-nonsense attitude that makes this composer/engineer uniquely qualified for artist and major advertising music production.Richard started producing and writing music at the age of 15. Since those early days some 25 years ago, Richard’s love of the production process and determination gave him the keys to being a part of the several national ad-music projects. During his career Richard has worked on several projects that have been awarded such as: Village Inn Restaurants (Winner “Best Radio Music in the World” World Broadcasting Awards & Silver Telly), The Shops of Port Royal (Gold Addy), Westin Resorts (New York Addys, “Best of Show” Promo A/V Score), Harmon Kardon (Mobius Award), Easy Auto Credit (Gold Addy), and The Nashville Music Awards (Nominated “Dinosaur Stomp” Kid’s Music).Other projects Richard has worked on are: Western Auto/Parts America (NASCAR & NHRA), Buick, B.C. Powder, Major League Baseball, Dominos Pizza, Golden Corral Restaurants, Anheuser-Busch, Cummins Diesel, Winn-Dixie, Piggly-Wiggly, Cellular One, Long John Silvers, Air-Force and many others.Beyond advertising music Richard has worked for a wide variety of skilled music industry writers and artist. I started my production experience as a Advertising Music (Jingle) Producer. Because of that I have produced a very large number of styles from Rock to Rap, Classical to Carribean, Funk to Punk, Paradies to Pop, and any other genre you can come up with.
