If it’s true that two heads are better than one, then New Yorkers Paolo Cilione & Claudio Camaione known as Blow-Up are living proof. They write, perform & produce pop songs that are unique and very danceable. To date, they have yielded two indie Blow-Up albums: In Technicolor (Asian release) and Exploding Plastic Pleasure (which features vocals in four different languages, as well as guest appearances by Debbie Harry of Blondie & Lydia Lunch). The popularity of their sophomore disc opened up an entirely new field for the pair: remixes. Blow-Up’s Re-Production/Remixes have transformed familiar songs like Blondie’s “Good Boys” and Rod Stewart’s “Do You Think I’m Sexy”. Other clients include Yoko Ono and The Flaming Lips. The 2007 Yoko Ono LP 'Yes I'm A Witch" features a Blow-Up version of the song "Every Man / Every Woman". The reviews were so good with the Blow-Up track that Yoko asked them to redo another one of her songs for her follow up LP coming in 2008. Arguably the most powerful of Blow-Up’s admirers is Madonna, for whom they have completed three tracks. “Love Profusion” & "Hollywood" both reached number one on the Billboard charts. Though Madonna's stamp of approval gave their business a significant boost, the pop icon had long been an acquaintance. With their popularity mushrooming, Blow-Up have focused on spending time writing and producing their next full length CD. The first single, an original track call "John Travolta" is already peaking the Euro charts.
