About Me
As a high profile music journalist, my interviews and features have appeared and continue to appear in countless music magazines around the world from Australian Guitar, Blunt and Australian Musician in Australia to Classic Rock, Guitar & Bass, Metal Hammer, Bass Guitar Magazine, Total Guitar, Performing Musician, Kerrang! and Record Collector in the U.K. From Guitar World, The Big Takeover, Goldmine and Maximum Ink in the U.S and Snaggletooth in Canada to This Is Rock in Spain and Chitarre in Italy. I also contribute exclusive interviews to Ultimate-Guitar.Com and am a contributor to UK's Guardian Series Newspapers' Limited Edition magazine as well as Fairfax Newspapers' M - The Sunday Age in Melbourne.
In my capacity as music journalist, I've interviewed a who's who of the music world as well as spent time on tour with numerous artists. These include artists the calibre of Slash (Guns 'N' Roses, Velvet Revolver), Aerosmith, Iron Maiden, Kiss, The Doors, Black Sabbath, Motley Crue, Hinder, Status Quo, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Korn, Motorhead, Marilyn Manson, Deep Purple, Allman Bros. Band, Judas Priest, Cheap Trick, Tool, The Cars, The Scorpions, Smashing Pumpkins, Queen, Matchbox Twenty, Nickelback, Alice Cooper, Slayer, Foreigner, Blondie, Linkin Park, Kings Of Leon, Yes, HIM, My Chemical Romance, Staind, Sonic Youth, The Buzzcocks, Silverchair, The Deftones, John Mayer and many, many others.
As a guitar player, I am a 20 + year veteran of countless original and covers outfits. My playing CV includes being the lead guitarist in the orchestra for award winning stage productions of Les Misérables and Chess as well as playing guitar and performing live shows with Ash Naylor (Even) and Tim Henwood (The Rogue Traders, The Androids, The Superjesus). I currently play lead guitar in legendary Australian pop-rock outfit Geisha with Chris Doheny - one of Australia's finest singer/songwriters - at the helm. When off duty from my Geisha commitments, I lead my own popular rock band Double Vision as lead guitarist, belting out covers of 1970s and 1980s pub rock classics.
My guitar playing work has graced several recordings over the years with my most recent being a guest appearance on legendary UK metallers Atomkraft's forth coming studio album titled Past, Present and Future which is due for release in 2008 via Iron Pegasus Records in Europe.
