Ater Opus(broke up awhile ago)

In the fall of 2005, A band was created which remained nameless. A group of 4 guys set out to make original sounding music and have some fun. They worked hard and created an abundance of music but problems soon occurred. For 1 thing, they still did not have a singer, a problem which would follow them for months, and 2, they still did not have a name. They soon tried a couple people out for singing but nothing seemed to really work out. Sean(current bassist/singer), having previous singing experience, decided that he would sing. Everyone in the band was up for the idea, and knew he was good enough to do it, so they went for it. Eventually, they came up with the name "the twin menagerie" and they all agreed on it. They began writing more material, had a couple member changes, and finally came out with a set they believed was good enough. They began booking shows, and were on their way. After their first show, they changed their name to Ater Opus(ah tare oh pus), which in translation is "Dark Masterpiece". Ater Opus is currently playing shows in the dayton area and are working on new material. They hope to bring good music to people who want to listen.
