About Me

George Carlin - Religion

Add to My Profile | More Videoshmmm...... I'm 1/5 of the band Occasional Monster...I am in the middle of an early mid life crises. I woke up one morning and realised that I hate my career and want to be a full time student. Prior to this decision I ran a family business that I worked in from the time I was 14 until recent. I am not a religious person nor am I superstitious. My faith is in the laws that govern nature. I will not self apply words to describe my world view. I do not like the idea of being labeled and put in a box. I wouldn't fit anyway.....I have been a lover of music since I was about 6 years old. As a small child in the 70's my first exposure to music consisted of Elvis and Kiss. (I can hear all of you laughing) If it wasn't for them I may never have picked up a guitar at age 13. So SHUT UP!! My politics are liberal. I believe the more liberty, the happier and kinder mankind tends to be.(liberal and liberty are one in the same. Liberal is NOT a bad word) Life is awesome. Live it full tilt! We only go around once. No matter how bad you have it, somebody has it worse....Oh, and try to notice those people. Shoot them a smile. Open a door. It might make all the difference in the world to them...a, a:link, a:visited, a.navbar, a.navbar:link, a.navbar:visited, a.man, a.man:link, a.man:visited { color:000000; font-size:10pt; font-weight:bold; font-/

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

People who value the environment and who think freely. People who are enthusiastic about the progress of the human specie's intellect. Problem solvers who just "do it"

Music:

We could be here all day.....Guitarist have a hard time with that question. Blues to Metal and most things in between ..Stevie Ray Vaughn Texas Flood

Add to My Profile | More VideosFreddy KingThe Reverand Bill G' and Company, ZZ TopMy influences all lead back to Robert Johnson and the pentatonic scale. KISS ALIVE! was where I picked up my first "cool" riffs, Branching out,I’ve been influenced by Gary Moore, Judas Priest, Iron Madden, Guns-n-Roses and for that matter Slash, in all his forms. Paul Kossoff of Free has had a profound effect on me as a guitarist. He could say more with one note than all the shredders of the 80's did with all their notes and eyeliner combined. I also love Led Zeppelin, Elvis, Gov't Mule, The Who, Jimmy Hendrix, Aerosmith, Pearl Jam, Randy Rhoads, early Van Halen, The Ramones, The Beatles, Alice in Chains, The Allman Brothers, Peter Green, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Freddy King, B.B. King, The Runaways, Lita Ford, Joan Jett, Zack Wylde, Metallica, Motorhead, The Cult, Billy Gibbons, Mick Ralphs, The Kulick brothers and Jeff Beck. I really like Angus Young of AC/DC too. I think that he doesn’t get the recognition he deserves. His leads are like songs in and of themselves. Last, but not least, I can’t forget to include my band mates.Pearl JamGary MooreZakk Wylde
