What is Arkane?

The Arkane Movement originated from New England in 1999. It was started by a collective of motivated-higher minded high school kids that saw no boundaries between art, music, and life.
The original Arkane Family threw and assisted numerous events across New England before members departed after graduation to spread the movement in Cali, the UK, and Japan.
The Arkane Movement is now headquartered in the greater Phoenix Valley with fledgling chapters starting in San Diego, Orlando, and back in New England. It has retained its core value of unifying and promoting real underground artists and people that have risen above the herd mentality. Our focus is expanding our collective conscience, not monetary gain.
However it is our belief that the realness and foundation of the Underground culture is a better long term investment then cashing in on the superficial-hollowness that is popular contemporary culture... because the mainstream is just a bastardized version of the Underground 7 years prior, at its best.
Since relocating to Phoenix the Arkane Movement has also expanded its operations into dance, fashion, design, and consultation. This goes back to understanding that the only true human purpose is expression and finding ways to enhance that expression.
The faces you see on this page are by no means our roster. Arkane is a mind state not a fraternal organization. We are willing to work with any local artists, thinkers, and businesses that share a similar opinion. Likewise we invite you to join us on our projects. Division is an illusion.
