2 KILLA HERTZ

ASTONISH & ERIK DC started collaborating on projects in early 2007. It wasn't until a legendary tag-team set at the opening of TekTonic Tuesdays at Burn nightclub in Phoenix that the duo decided to move ahead as 2 KILLA HERTZ.
Having both there names already heavily associated with other styles and projects, 2 KILLA HERTZ provides the duo a fresh outlet to push electro-bass-heavy floor bangers. The skill sets that they both bring from their extensive background leaves the two unmatched on raw technical ability and creative expression.
2 Killa Hertz are the current residents at the Vally's hottest new dance night TekTonic Tuesdays @ Burn. Not content with simply playing other's music the two are collaborating on an album that is due out mid 2008.

ASTONISH

ASTONISH’s father passed on a genetic disposition to music and an extensive record collection. He quickly utilized these gifts and started to DJ at clubs at the tender age of 15.
ASTONISH went professional in 2000 dominating local DJ competitions. He is Arizona’s #1 DJ, going undefeated since 2003 including the GUITAR CENTER SPIN-OFF, and the elite ARIZONA DMC CHAMPIONSHIP.
His talents have taken him across the US to illustrious venues like Hollywood’s EL REY THEATRE, Colorado’s BOULDER THEATRE, New Mexico’s SUNSHINE THEATRE, New Orleans’s HOUSE OF BLUES, Las Vegas’s RUMJUNGLE, RISQUE, VOODOO LOUNGE, and STUDIO 54.
He was showcased at numerous venues for the millions that attended the NBA ALL STAR WEEKEND 2007. He has played every major radio station in the valley and is the most sought after DJ by AZ Hip-Hop artists.

ERIK DC

Erik DC fell into the Underground dance scene in 97 and bought his first 1200s shortly thereafter. In the next ten years DC would move from Disco House, Minimal Techno, Nu School Breaks, Drum & Bass, Underground Hip-Hop, Down Tempo, Nu School Jazz, to real Elektro. He now has disdain for “Genres” and rocks a neo-Klassica style.
DC played numerous house parties and was eventually picked up by New England’s elite party crew The Nu Breed. While still in high school DC played at numerous clubs and renegade parties.
Upon graduation DC enlisted in the Air Force and soon after held residencies at his new home in Okinawa, Japan. Moving to Arizona in 2006 DC quickly made his mark. He has played at numerous venues throughout Scottsdale & Phoenix, founded two of the hottest weeklies EMBARGO & TEKTONIC, and most importantly promoted other true-school artists through the ARKANE MOVEMENT.
