Found this great short film featuring Evan of Fixer
Thunder & Lightning Storms, over night power outages that only last a few hours in the summer. Blue Roses. I like to spend time outdoors hiking, bike riding and walking. Love to read as much as I can. Music is seriously my life. I couldn't imagine living one minute without it. I play clarinet and I am trying to learn guitar. I hope to learn Bass, violin and piano. I want to learn to bellydance. Which would be a feat since I can't dance to save my soul! Besides that I love hanging with my friends and going to the beach in the summer and attending concerts. I love to sit around with a group of friends and listen to music or hang out with a band while they rehearse, go to clubs to catch live acts and mingle with as many people as possible.
I love theater but haven't had time to see many plays. To date the ones Ive seen are Beauty & the Beast ( eh that was a few years ago), Jekyll & Hyde , Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables (these last two are the best IMO) anyone want to see "WICKED"? or Les Miserables again? hit me up!
In the moments of our lives,
Both the joyous and the tragic,
If the truth is to be told,
We are all pursuing magic

“A groupie was more than just some girl who wanted to get laid* by any member of the band. Sure, it may have been like that in the late '70s and the '80s, but when we were doing it, it was more about being a part of the scene. It was about being embraced by the group, like we were embraced by all of Led Zeppelin, who, I must say, adored me.â€

I like to meet new people that are into the same things as I am. If you're a cool cat, an extrovert and as long as there isn't too much distance between us I prolly wouldn't mind meeting up. Shy quiet people aren't natural, means your hiding something. LOL

Rock n' Roll baby!
I listen to almost all types of music really. Country, Pop, Jazz, all Metal music, Classical, Ska, punk, celtic, if its got a beat and some amazing vocals I'm game for it.
Love music from the 50's like Elvis Presely. He's my favorite singer of all time. He is the King! I will pretty much listen to music from every decade but I hate disco.
Give me a longhaired rocker and his guitar anytime over that stuff.

Wow books I've read so many I couldn't begin to list but I’ll try. Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles and other works. I love H.P Lovecraft. I have also started to break through all the DragonLance books. I haven't even gotten half way through them but I plan to. Forgotten Realms, Midsummer Night's Dream. Love Romance novels Nora Roberts is my favorite writer. I read science fiction, Fantasy, Romance, historical and books on the occult. I like to read about Native American Cultures, the Ancient Greek-Chinese-Roman and Egyptian cultures. I have read some books on the Wiccan religion. I have also read books on the Holocaust and WWII.
Oh not to forget Pamela Des Barres - I'm with the Band: Confessions of a Groupie. The best rock and roll tell all book about the truth that is rock and roll groupie-dom. Sex, Drugs, booze and music. Love was the key element in her life and the life of a true groupie.. not the hookers that are hired for the bands...
Also read Pamela's "Rock Bottom" and have begun "Let's spend the Night Together"
Pamela Des Barres. She lived the life I want to have and treasure. She met, loved and was loved by the greatest men in Rock & Roll. She wasn't a "whore" as some refer to her as. She is a strong and intelligent woman who had a rich life and continues to live it the way she wants and is completely happy without a single regret for her past. She cherishes it and has written about it so that the world can understand that "groupie" isn't a negative term or life style. It's women who love the music and the men who make it. Hanging out with the groups and developing lasting relationships with them.
Anyone who stands up for what they believe in, the majority be damned. Living their lives how they want so long as they aren't harming others or themselves.
