For the last 7 1/2 years I've been a single parent of two beautiful children, I realize that the person who I thought one day that I would marry was nothing but a pathological liar. At the tender age of 15 I thought he was my soul mate, the one I was going to grow old with, but what did I know then.? At 25 with two children to fend for without a father it was devastating. After 7 year he has changed his name, moved to other states so that I couldn't track him down for child support. He's called them maybe 10 times, no exaggeration.

It is a Federal crime to willfully fail to pay support for a child living in another state if support arrearages are over $5,000 or are unpaid for longer than one year. United States Attorneys prosecute these interstate cases in Federal court. The US Attorneys offices have limited staff and resources and a great deal of investigative work has to go into bringing cases to a successful conclusion. The US attorneys usually work with the Child Support Enforcement (CSE) agency to determine whether a particular case is suitable for prosecution. A major consideration in screening a case for possible Federal prosecution is whether all reasonably available civil and State criminal remedies have been pursued. Check with your child support office to see if prosecution under this Act would be available in your case.

I've already received nasty emails about my site, and it's not fully operational... Most of the information are public record, so if they have a problem with it then they should go and take it with the judge!! In that note to all of you that are reading this and have children that are not being taking care of, then please start from now on, PAY YOUR CHILD SUPPORT!!!. And to those hard working single parents out there STAY STRONG!
