"People would come up to me crying and hugging me and saying my voice touched them." At Eriks house music was always playing,and Erik loved to sing along with the radio,TV and records. Yet no one ever thought Erik was going to make music career-no one but Erik. When he was still in high school, Eriks family moved from New York to Melbourne, Florida. After high school,Erik was performing at local events and looking for a way to break into biz.It came when it happened to stop by his parents house and the TV was on. "I saw the announcement for [the Making the Band auditions] on E! Entertainment TV", Erik recalls."I dont even watch TV, and i happened to see it twice in one day.I had a good feeling about it-- I had to do it." The rest,as they say,is history!
