Fronted by vocalist Lyn Hinds and guitarist David Hinds (Marshall Bros, Rabbit, Finch/Contraband). David & Lyn have just released their debut 12 tracks on the album, and enlisted the services of the powerhouse rhythm section of bass player Chris Haigh (Tommy & Phil Emmanuel, Renee Geyer, Tim Finn, Kasey Chambers) and former Eurogliders drummer Steve Sowerby. Mark Tinson (Rabbit, Heroes, Swanee, Angry Anderson) co-produced with the Hinds’, and played accordion on the Cajun flavoured ‘Just Cruisin’.
The album features an eclectic mix of styles, from the classic riff rock of ‘Show Me’ and ‘On A Mission’ to the swampy slide-driven blues rock of opener ‘Hot On Ya Heels’, the epic slow minor blues of ‘Blue Days’, the reggae skank of ‘Baci Da Roma’ and the cinematic spaghetti western vibe of ‘Silencio’.
