About Me

Hi! Thanks for visiting my profile. Here’s a description of me and what you will find if you read my blogs.

My Blogs are now almost always stories I've written though you will find the odd poem hidden in them. Since January 2007 I have developed an urge to write novel length stories and these are usually young adult style fantasies.

I’ve been happily and faithfully married for nearly thirty years to my wonderful wife Rosie. (That’s getting pretty unusual these days!) We have two grown up children whom I admire, because growing up with me as a father must have been a bit difficult. lol At the age of ten I decided I wanted to be a poet. This was not something you told people about on a working class estate in Sheffield, England when I was a kid. Not if you wished to remain attached to your gonads anyway. I got where I wanted to and stopped writing for nearly 30 years. Now I write for fun in my spare time. I have been putting new stories and poems up on Myspace. They aren't in any way about me, but they often express my views, they are limited in scope only by imagination. They are fantasies. Nerina Pallot told me she starts songs from something she has experienced and then lets them fly where they will. Poems and stories are the same, they aren’t a true representation of real life but hopefully they let the imagination of the reader fly. I hope you look at the blogs and find something of value. Length of stories posted on my blog in 2007 exceeded 700,000 words in total!
How completely absurd is that? Easy by my friends Mooli. Buy their new Album Concubine NOW!!!!!
All friend requests will be accepted but I may not respond to emails.
