What day is it? Music, movies, politics (I'm a progressive Democrat myself), internet socializing, pop culture, books, current events.
Just an All-American Girl
Well you're here, so I guess - YOU!
Always enjoy meeting fun and creative folks; and I've met some interesting people on-line, and if I'm not here you can usually find me at the cyber-club I hang out at

Feel free to come by and even join in the fun - no dress code and no cover charge!!
To all my 'net friends:
Depends on my mood - rock-n-roll (all genres) - it's what really moves me...
But also country, blues, top 40-dance pop, roots/Americana....it'd almost be easier to just point you to our PA.com JUKEBOX
Again, depends on what I'm in the mood for: comedies, dramas, biographies, action-adventure, musicals, epics, the classics, documentaries (although not really a fan of chick-flix) - I love Netflix's catalogue of 70 years of movies!!
Oh just a few I've read:
Howard Zinn's A People's History of the United States
John Stewart's America (The Book)
13th Generation by Howe & Strauss
Straight Whiskey by Quisling & Williams
Earth in the Balance by Al Gore
Celeb bios and anything by Sidney Sheldon, Stephen King and Olivia Goldsmith are fun reads.
And I also read Time Magazine, Elle, Rolling Stone - almost anything and everything.
Those who have risen above the ashes of the dark fire in their lives and come out stronger and smarter. The legend and imagery of the Phoenix has always touched a chord with me.
"I'm your hell, I'm your dream
I'm nothing in between
You know you wouldn't want it any other way
I'm a bitch, I'm a tease
I'm a goddess on my knees
When you hurt, when you suffer
I'm your angel undercover
I've been numb, I'm revived
Can't say I'm not alive
You know I wouldn't want it any other way"

I wanna rock and roll this party,
I still want to have some fun.
I wanna leave you feeling breathless,
show you how the West was won."
