I have two big loves in life besides my friends and family. One is completely obvious from my page, and that love is rock music. It runs the full spectrum of emotions for me. There are songs that have helped me thru the sad times when they could put into words what I couldn't seem to express and I'd sit and cry it out with the volume loud enough to eventually drown out the tears. I have learned that music helps soothe the savage beast as I can't tell you how many times screaming along with Motley Crue's Primal Scream has given me a much needed way to vent out my frustrations. (It's my therapy...Primal Scream Therapy) Music takes a good time with friends, and turns it into a great time. No alcohol needed, just good tunes and good friends and I couldn't be happier. And in the words of Motley Crue, ~Just take this song and you'll never feel left all alone~ Truer words were never spoken. No matter how down I am, how upset I am, how messed up things are in my life, music is one of two things I can always count on to be there for me.
What's the other thing? Dogs. Complete and total unconditional love. I have always had a dog in my life and they have been the best friends I've ever had. They don't tell your secrets, they don't care if you're having a bad hair day, they don't care how much money you have, what kind of work you do, or if you're wearing the latest fashions. They just love you as you are. Although a pocket full of treats certainly helps. *lol* So that leads me to what I really want to do with my life eventually and that is to open my own doggie daycare/kennel/grooming shop. I live in a small community and I really don't know if the clientele I will need in order for it to be successful exists here, but if I ever get the money together to start it, I'm finally gonna give it a shot. Sadly, it's a matter of money. But then, isn't it always? But in the words once more of the immortal Motley Crue ~If you wanna live life on your own terms, you gotta be willing to crash and burn~ Well guess what? I'm tired of living by everyone else's rules. I'm tired of punching their time clock and dealing with their customers. I want to punch MY time clock and deal with MY customers. The ones with the cold noses and the warm hearts instead of the other way around. Wish me luck my friends.
A few other odds and ends about me...
I keep thinking I'll eventually write a book but it too has been one of those things I'll eventually get around to.
I have a fascination with Marilyn Monroe, her life and her legacy. It doesn't matter that she was making movies and sadly passed away before I was even born. I feel she was a beautiful talented woman who was taken from us all much too quickly. She had so much to offer and I feel she was treated unfairly in some reports of her life and of her death. RIP pretty lady. You are missed.
I have a definate shoe fetish. I have about 60+ pairs of shoes and boots and we renovated a closet in our house just for my shoes. Everything from work boots to stiletto heels, from flip flops to thigh high leather boots. It's a sickness. I need help. But I don't really care. I enjoy it too much to even consider trying to be cured. *lol*
I love my tattoos. I love getting tattooed. Yes you read that right. Something about the feel of the tattoo needle breaking the skin, the sting of the needle creating beauty where before there was only a blank canvas. Something that makes me uniquely me. I just got number 10 in September and if you count the fact that I've had one re-worked and one covered, does that make it 12? I admit, I've got a rebellious streak in me. I'm amused by the horrified stares of those too uptight and scared to be anything but sheep. Those unwilling to understand that everyone is truly different and unique and some of us aren't afraid to show it. And those that do get it, get it. Like most of you here, on my list, you get it, and you matter because ~those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind~
I'm a net junkie. Love to surf around and mess with myspace. And I do websites too. So if you have a business or a band and you need a website or a myspace and you're willing to pay me to put it together and maintain it, contact me PLEASE!!!
I'm happy to help promote a friend's recording studio called Blue Stream Records. So musicians, if you're looking to record, contact Jeff and tell him Sixxlette sent ya! :) The studio myspace is in my top friends and click the banner to get to the main website!
A few more snippets about me...I enjoy losing myself in a good book or movie. I love shopping even if it's just window shopping. I love hanging out with my friends and family. I don't change who I am just to blend in. Not to say I don't realize there's a time and place for certain conversations or language and I can watch my mouth when need be *lol* So I'm not intentionally rude (unless you are first!) nor do I seek out disagreements by any means, but I do stand up for what I believe in and what or who I love if asked or if challenged. And whether you love me or hate me, I am who I am and I make no apologies for it.

Nikki Sixx
The heart and soul of Motley Crue as he writes the majority of the lyrics and music. I love you Nikki!
"Once the stage lights dim, I always come alive...Sikki is always waiting in the wings"
And an update as of September 23,2007...I never thought I'd be typing this. I mean NEVER! But, I MET NIKKI SIXX! (and I'd love to do it again!) I can not tell you how amazing it was. He is so sweet and so kind and just...well, Nikki! I consider myself absolutely blessed to have had the chance. Thank you so damn much for the opportunity Nikki. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!
Alice Cooper
The Godfather of Shock Rock. A true legend. Love this man and his music.
This one goes without saying doesn't it? Nikki Sixx, Vince Neil, Mick Mars and Tommy Lee. And although I referred to Nikki above as the heart and soul of Crue, make no mistake about it, the Crue is NOT the Crue without ALL four. Sixx, Neil, Mars and Lee! No substitutes!!! I love you boys!
I never really ever thought I'd say this (nor do I get tired of saying it!)...but as of 6/20/07, I have one amazing man to take off of that list. I MET VINCE NEIL!!! (Not that I wouldn't LOVE to meet him again though!!!)Love you Vince!
As for anyone else I'd like to meet? Check out my music section! And of course, my friends on Shout and myspace!

Music:
To quote Joan Jett, I Love Rock 'N' Roll! My music is a deep love of everything 80's hair metal. I like some of the other stuff too like Sixx:A.M., Ashba, Rob Zombie, Naked Beggars, Godsmack, Disturbed, Buckcherry, Nickelback, Pantera, Black Label Society, Hinder, Brides of Destruction, etc. I like the occasional shot of the more industrial/gothy stuff too like Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Kill Hannah. But my heart lies with mainly two bands, Alice Cooper and Motley Crue. As for the rest of 'em, let's put it like this, if they wore more eyeliner than me and their hair is/was longer than mine, if they're sporting some serious ink, chances are good I love their music (and them!) There are so many, I just keep adding to this list and in no particular order...Poison, Winger, Warrant, Cinderella, Ratt, Faster Pussycat, WASP, Skid Row, Ozzy, AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Ratt, Quiet Riot, Twisted Sister, Britny Fox, Danger Danger, Lita Ford, Bullet Boys, Dangerous Toys, Dio, Vixen, Joan Jett, Pretty Boy Floyd, Whitesnake, Enuff Z'Nuff, Femme Fatale, Van Halen, White Lion, Jackyl, Black N Blue, Dokken, Hanoi Rocks, LA Guns, Slaughter, Def Leppard, Bang Tango, Judas Priest, Tesla, Scorpions, Megadeth, KISS, Night Ranger, Rick Springfield, Mr. Big, Guns N Roses, Damn Yankees, Firehouse, Metallica, Tuff, Asphalt Valentine, The Dogs Divine, Vains of Jenna, Tattooed Millionaires...and the list goes on and on and on and on.....
I feel the need to make a special place for the rock gods that have touched my life through their music and I'm sure were so very important in the lives of those that knew them personally. They were taken much before their time but are still very loved and certainly very missed. May you all rest in peace.

What Member Of Motley Crue Are You Most Compatible With?
Take the quiz:
Which Rock N' Roll Bad Boy Is "Secretly" Your Type? Nikki Sixx Consider yourself lucky. You have found a true soulmate in Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx. After seeing his father walk out on him at 3, and estranging himself from his mother at 14, Nikki turned to drugs and drink to repress his hostility, rage and deep depression. Thus causing him to never get to know himself. Inside Nikki is a mere child looking desperately for stability and companionship; something he's admittedly never had in his life. Sixx will ultimately have to fight to survive his past, to come out on top in the future.

Movies:
I tend to like chick flicks, comedy, suspense/mystery. I don't like horror as a rule, but the few I do like, I really like, but for the most part slasher flicks just give me nightmares. *lol*
My favorite movie of all time, is The Crow. I find most people that see this movie either love it or hate it. There are very few people I know on middle ground with this movie. If you love it, it will become a part of you. It has me.
Other favorites are of course the John Hughes 80's films, Sixteen Candles, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Pretty in Pink..etc...etc..
I also really love Rockstar, Grind, School of Rock, Freaky Friday (the Jamie Lee Curtis version, not the old one!), Scream, The Craft, Strangeland, Trick or Treat and the list goes on and on just like my music list does!
Television:
I'm so bummed they took off my favorite show, Inked on A&E. But I still swear one of these days, I am SO going to get tattooed at Hart and Huntington! Somebody write that down cause that's a promise!
I have a totally guilty pleasure as well which is Desperate Housewives. I'm a lot more like Susan than I care to admit! *lol*
And I LOVE Family Guy! Stewie absolutely rules!
As for anything else I like, I've been known to watch a few soap operas here and there. I really like WWE wrestling now and then. I will watch any re-run of Friends and Charmed that is on. And needless to say, give me lots and lots of Metal Mania on VH1Classic!!!
Books:
I read quite a bit, when I'm not online...or watching a movie or tv...wait..maybe I don't read as much as I should *lol* Or would like to for that matter.
But when I do sit down and read, I'll read almost anything. I like biographies and have read most anything I can get my hands on about Marilyn Monroe. But mostly, I like fictional stuff. The occasional trashy romance, but more Jackie Collins style than Harlequin. But mostly I like law novels like Steve Martini, suspense/cop stuff like Stuart Woods and I love the horror stuff like John Saul, Dean Koontz, and of course my favorite author, Stephen King.
My favorite book though does not come from my favorite author strangely enough. It is by S.E. Hinton. The Outsiders. I read this book as a teen and it has stayed with me to this day. And the movie they made from it wasn't half bad either.
And do I even need to say it? Don't you know it already? Must I tell you? Okay okay...my other absolute favorite is the best book ever written about excess and decadence, girls, hairspray and fire. The Dirt. The story of Motley Crue. The book that made me laugh, and made me cry. It disgusted me, and shocked me and somehow left me with a warm fuzzy feeling when I was finished. It totally endeared four men even more to my heart. Nikki Sixx, Vince Neil, Mick Mars and Tommy Lee.
And as of 2007, there is absolutely one more to add. It truly is the most amazing story I have ever read. And one that is going to help so many people. And anyone that knows me, already knows this one. It is "a year in the life of a shattered rockstar" when drug addiction caused him to die, not just once, but twice...but as the old saying goes, ya just can't keep a good man down. I thank the powers that be everyday that he is still here and that he has kicked his addiction and come so far to be the man he is today.
Someone who knows what is important in life. He is a good father, a caring man, a kind man, and a beautiful man both inside and out. Yet one that still speaks his mind whether you like it or not, and still rocks the entire world when he takes the stage. He is someone that has and will continue to make a difference and provide light in a world that can be very cold and dark.
The book - The Heroin Diaries
The man - Nikki Sixx
Just buy the fucking book and read it already...besides a percentage of the proceeds go to his charity, Running Wild in the Night to support homeless and runaway youth...how can you go wrong with that?
Heroes:
This one is easy for me. My mom is my hero. She survived an ugly divorce (but then are any divorces that are at all pretty?) and did her best alone to raise a little girl into adulthood. She fell victim to cancer and fought so hard, but passed away a few months shy of my 18th birthday. Yet I know she's with me still when I need her most. I love and miss you mom. Thanks for everything.
