Forgive and Forget, a paranormal BDSM fantasy about the greek gods Apollo and Zephyrus, will be available Mid-March 08 from Loose ID

“Treizzzze!”
Lucas’s back was sheened with sweat, making each pop of the whip louder than the previous. Red welts crisscrossed his fair skin -- thirteen so far. His body convulsed even when the leather weapon was nowhere near him.
“No more. Please, no more.”
“Apollo,” Zephyrus said from his spot at the head of the bed. He’d been lying there enjoying the show, but by the eighth lash a crease had appeared between his fair brows. It deepened with every whistling stroke. “Perhaps fifteen will do, after all.”
Apollo frowned right back. The leather fell again. “What number?” he snarled, when Lucas remained silent. If sobs could be called silence.
“Quatorze! Quatorze! Please, Master!”
Master… Now we’re getting somewhere, he thought. Apollo raised the whip one more time and was astonished to find his arm held there -- on the back stroke -- by a tightly targeted gale.
“He can’t take much more, Pol.”
The sun god glared at Zephyrus. “Get out of my head, Zeph. And let go of my arm. The boy has a safe word.”
The pressure against his arm slackened, but when he went to bring it forward, the airstream snapped into existence once more. Gone was the ruthless arrogance Apollo had been so confused by, in its place Zephyrus wore an expression of refined concern. The question was, why did that make Apollo feel bereft? “Oh, for fuck’s sake!” he spat, tossing down the whip. “You want me to prove he’s still game?”
Apollo strode back to the bed to grasp Lucas’s hips. He twirled the boy around and, with no preamble, ripped the nipple clips off his body. Past time they came off. Lucas didn’t have an immortal’s ability to withstand pain, after all. Apollo’s own nipples ached something fierce, but he could last a long while yet.
Lucas screamed as the steel sprang free, arching his back and twisting toward where the sun god stood beside him.
Apollo held Lucas still by taking a swollen, reddened ass cheek in each hand. He massaged the hard welts found there while, at the same time leaning over to oh so gently trace his tongue over the boy’s abused nipples.
More ghostly fireworks shimmered through Lucas’s body. His cock bounced like a live wire against Apollo’s stomach.
“Should I stop, pretty one?”
“Non!”
Apollo switched sides, glancing up as he did so. Lucas’s tears had made the blindfold soggy. So soggy that the fabric could no longer contain them. Silver runnels had found their way into the creases of anguish around his mouth. After a minute more of tender suckling, Apollo straightened back up to claim those gorgeous, wet lips.
Lucas’s kiss was wild, desperate…
“Are you sure?” Apollo asked, smiling at the display. “Zephyrus seems to think --”
“Non!” Lucas cried again. “Only please, Master, may I come at twenty?”

My short story Cry Wolf in Don’t Ask, Don’t Tie Me Up – Military BDSM Fantasies, will be available April 08 from StarBooks Press

As he stroked Wolf’s cock, Cain struggled to appear nonchalant. Nothing to see here. Just a doctor having a late night chat with one of his patients. Move along. Move along.
It should have been easier for him to fake humdrum than for Wolf. He wasn’t the one getting a hand job. But as the women drew nearer, Cain found himself sweating and shaking. He held the clipboard tight in his lap and struggled not to betray his excitement.
Wolf was rocking his hips the slightest amount, even though the movement must have been agonizing, and he’d once again let his head fall back against the wall. His eyes were slitted, but Cain knew they were open by the black shimmer visible between his lashes. The only sign the kid gave of being agitated was the continual darting of his tongue along his lower lip. Left. Right. The harder Cain pumped him the faster Wolf licked. Cain’s own cock was so stiff he thought he might come just from watching that sexy pink glide.
“We’ve gotta talk,” Wolf murmured. His hand rose to his chest in an entirely casual gesture. No one but Cain was close enough to see the way he pinched and stretched his dark little nipples through the threadbare undershirt. How he wished he could just lean over and take one of those tiny brown nubs between his teeth. “They’re gonna wonder why you’re sitting here, otherwise.”
“Uhhh.” Cain racked his mind for the words to an ordinary conversation. “Uhhh.”
Wolf grinned. “They can’t hear us, Doc. Why don’t we talk about how, as soon as I’m on my feet, I’m going to tie you up and do nasty, painful things to your body?”
That didn’t help. Now Cain couldn’t even form a coherent thought, let alone a whole series of words. Only one word made it past his lips. “Like?”

My short storyVertigo in Hard Hats, will be available April 08 from Cleis Press

“I can you help you with that phobia,” Rafe whispered against Conrad’s ear. Hot breath washed his cheek, right before strong teeth closed over his earlobe.
“With…Oh, Christ…what are you doing?” Rafe’s tongue was in his ear and his fingers were lowering the zip on Conrad’s pants. Normally, Conrad would be more than happy to roll around on the floor with a prime piece like Rafe. But his boss could be back any second. Not cool. “Stop it.”
“With your fear of heights,” Rafe elaborated, doing the opposite of stopping. He reached inside the now open zipper and proceeded to jack Conrad off through his white jockies. His tongue tickled its way along Conrad’s jaw.
“How’d you—”
“You looked like a deer caught in the headlights when he asked you to come over.” Rafe chuckled and nipped at Conrad’s Adam’s apple. “A pretty, dark-haired, green-eyed deer.” Now his lips moved up to hover above Conrad’s own. His hand pumped faster. “You were so pale I thought you were gonna pass out,” Rafe said, flicking his tongue into Conrad’s mouth.
Before he’d even thought about it, Conrad was sucking on the strong, pink muscle. His balls drew up tight. “Christ, man, you’ve gotta stop,” he groaned.

(Temporarily out of print)

Alex woke to the lovely feel of strong male hands traveling over her skin. She turned into his chest and offered her mouth up for a kiss.
He obliged.
And it was sweet, and soft, and good, and…and it wasn’t Kasdeya. With a gasp, Alex pushed away, using Shaitan’s muscular white torso for leverage. She encountered an equally muscular body behind her.
“Oh,” she said, “I thought—”
“He was me,” Kasdeya finished for her. “Well he’s not, pet,” he said, sliding his hand under her arm to palm her breast. “So roll over and try again.”
When she tried to do so Shaitan caught at her hip. His hard cock rubbed against her, clearly felt through his jeans. “One more for me, first,” he said, giving her a charming, lopsided grin. The coldness she’d seen before was completely gone from his eyes, replaced by a fond, golden warmth. “After all, he gets to kiss you every day, and I only have tonight.”
“Uh…I…,” she stammered.
“Oh, go ahead, pet.” Kasdeya pressed his prick—also denim covered—into her ass.
She was surprised to feel only a slight tenderness there, not the agony she’d expected. Her boots were gone too. They must have healed and undressed her while she slept. The question, ‘Why am I the only one mostly naked here?’, died on her lips as Kasdeya rolled her nipple between his fingers. She arched into the caress. Who cares, Alex thought, they’ll be joining me soon enough.
“He’s right,” Kasdeya continued, trailing kisses along her throat. “He only has you for one night; I suppose we can humor the bastard.”
Shaitan chuckled and his eyes lifted over her shoulder. “Too kind, brother. Too kind.”
“I live to please you, my Prince,” Kasdeya said, with a chuckle of his own.
What the hell? Alex wondered. She felt like she’d woken up in an alternate reality. Were these the same two fellows that had been at each other’s throats only a few hours ago?
“So,” Shaitan murmured, leaning in until his lips brushed hers. “What say you, Summoner? Can I steal another kiss?”
Kasdeya swirled his tongue into her ear, and plucked more aggressively at her nipples, first one, then the other.
Alex moaned into Shaitan’s mouth, her hips twitching against his groin. It was her tongue that ended up delving between his lips. He smiled and sucked on it, letting her explore as she liked. His hand skimmed down her thigh, lifting it and setting it on his hip so he could rock his hardness against her crotch. She moaned again and threaded her hands through his short, soft hair.
“Alright,” said Kasdeya, giving her ass a slap. “It’s my turn now, cut it out.”
Alex turned only her upper body, her sex still pressed tight to Shaitan’s cock, and tugged her dark-man’s head down to hers.
He was much more demanding, thrusting hard inside her mouth, claiming her. His hand left her breasts to wrap around her neck, holding her close for his kiss. Alex didn’t have long to mourn the loss of his wicked fingers, though.
In a single, crisp maneuver, Shaitan shifted backwards, tugging her lower body with him to create a space between her and Kasdeya, then rolled her onto her back, his body between her thighs. He slithered down a bit to replace his brother’s fingers with his lips.
Alex wrapped her legs around the Prince’s waist, grinding into his naked stomach. She didn’t mean to, but she did. Her fingers also clenched tighter in his hair, pressing him closer still.
Shaitan chuckled and bit at the stiff, saliva slick peak of her nipple, making Alex buck beneath him. “Eager, love?”
Her mouth was still full of Kasdeya’s tongue, so all she could do was moan louder in affirmation.

Reviews:

LT Blue from JERR gives it 4 out of 5, and an 'O' for orgasmic:
The Summoner was written with well defined primary and secondary characters that fit very smoothly into the plot. The primary characters, Alex and Kasdeya, complement each other to the fullest...The sex between Kasdeya and Alex was super hot! I loved it. But when Shaitan and/or his concubine Shi Liu are added into the sexual play, it was really nice to have a partner standing by! Ms. Steele created an entirely believable world in The Summoner, I am looking forward to additional stories from Alisha Steele.

Kir from Cocktail Reviews says:
CONTRASTS REVOLVING AROUND TORRID SEX

The Summoner by Alisha Steele is one of the most erotic books that I have ever read. The eroticism is possible due to the collision of the real world and the underworld...This is why I liked the book; contrast. The modern world and the ancient world colliding by the meeting of two entities (Alex and Kasdeya) who are as opposite as any could be.Many of my preconceptions of Heaven and Hell were challenged (in this novel). I liked this! Heaven’s creatures came off far crueler than any of Hell’s minions.

He sighed and pulled himself up from his crouched position at the base of the boulder, stretching out stiff muscles. The Titan rolled his shoulders, flexing his chest and rippling the stacked muscle of his stomach. The heavy, honey light caressed his massive physique, sliding sensuously over smooth, nut-brown skin and dipping into sepia shadow at every sculptured curve. After one final flex, Prometheus turned his face expectantly up to the scudding clouds.
If Prometheus has been a mortal man, his body would have looked like that of a blacksmith, or perhaps of an Olympic athlete. Perfect strength complimented by perfect form, but Prometheus wasn’t mortal; he was a Titan, blood of Cronus. He was a god, standing well above the mightiest of trees. His eyes were an inhuman, lighting-hued violet, and his body was entirely hairless except for fine arched brows, and an amethyst braid which trailed down his back to coil in the sand at his feet. It was because of this immortality that Zeus had chained him to this Hades-cursed rock, in the middle of the sea, in the middle of nowhere--utterly alone. A god who couldn’t be killed easily could, nevertheless, suffer. Suffer cruelly, and for eternity…
He sighed again, a deep, melancholy exhalation. “Eternity…” he whispered
An eagle’s scream tore the morning air and Prometheus shuddered at the sound, his eyes scanning the sky while his breathing became labored and panicked. His clay-red cock lengthened and swelled, arching proudly over the tense muscles of his stomach. It was a learned response, this quickening of desire, and one he had no control over.
There, coming in from the east. The looming shadow glided over the ocean swells, and an anguished moan rose in his throat.
“Please, Zeus...please, let me die. Prometheus prayed.

Stephanie Vaughan, author of the upcoming novel Off-World, from Torquere, writes:
A. Steele puts a new twist on the story of the Greek immortal, Prometheus, in Who Will Know?...The shortest of the eight stories, Who Will Know? packs a powerful emotional punch that will linger in your mind and imagination.

Water Nymph from Literary Nymphs gives Shifting Again 4.5 out of 5, and says:

Mr. Knight has assembled a wonderfully diverse anthology where each story is as captivating as the next... Shifting Again is an entertaining and delightful change of pace.

Reviews:

Two Lip Reviews gives it 4 out of 5:

Stay With Me was a fun read. It was written from the viewpoint of Dionysos and was humorous as well as charming. Dionysos had a depth that I had not formerly associated with this particular deity and I found that I appreciated the story much more for it. He was sweet, considerate, and above all selfless in his seduction of Sianne. And his seduction of Sianne? Oh.So.Hot. I really enjoyed the writing style of Alisha Steele and will definitely watch for more of her work.

CK2S Kwips and Kritiques gives it 5 out of 5:

Alisha Steele’s character development is phenomenal as “Stay With Me” concludes the MASQUERADE anthology with a bang! Dionysos’ ennui is coloring his entire perspective of the masquerade ball until his chance encounter with Sianne leaves him hoping for more. Sianne’s struggles with self-esteem will resonate with readers as she begins to recognize that she is a very sensual woman and not frigid as past lovers have called her.

My Interests

Writing. Landscape, still-life, and mural painting. Playing with my two sons.

I'd like to meet:

Readers, of course. Other authors. And while I'm putting in requests, if Emma Holly were to drop me a hello I'd be simply thrilled, as she is my favorite author, and I hold her work up as my ideal when I write.

Music:

Smashmouth, The Barenaked Ladies, Jennifer Warnes, The Animals, The Kinks, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Eminem, Cake, Blues Traveller, Counting Crows, The Stones, Powerman 5000, The Police, Any Celtic Fiddle music, blah, blah, blah...

Movies:

CryBaby, The Princess Bride, All Monty Python movies, The Star Wars Saga, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Deep Impact, Velvet Goldmine, Grease, Excalibur, A Dirty Shame, Any Jackie Chan's, My Best Friend's Wedding, Earth Girls are Easy, Enter the Dragon, The Hunger, All 3 Indiana Jones, The Exorcist,From Dusk 'till Dawn, Fiddler on the Roof, The Others, Moulin Rouge, The Mad Max series, Evil Dead 1 and 3 (2 Sucked, IMO)...and I'll just stop here as this is a question that I could answer for pages and pages. :)

Television:

Scrubs, Supernatural, Lost, Heroes, Haunting, Trading Spaces, The Colbert Report, G-Spot, Sin Cities

Shows that are no longer on the air, but should be! Lexx, Firefly, Northern Exposure, Buffy and Angel, of course.

Books:

Let's sort by Author, it's easier. I'll mention some books too.

Anne Rice - (Yes, even her new religious stuff, the woman can still write!) particularly, The Vampire and the Mayfair Witch series', Belinda, and Feast of all Saints. Any Steven King - particularly the Dark Tower Series, IT, The Stand, TommyKnockers, and the Long Walk. Any Dean Koontz - particularly The Watchers and Tick-Tock. Any Emma Holly. Seriously ANY Emma Holly, but my fave so far is Menage. Elizabeth Lowell...I like all her stuff, but have a particular affinity for her western Romances...don't ask me why. I can't read anyone else's Westerns; normally I hate that era as a Romantic backdrop.

Okay, I can't keep listing books, I don't happen to have all day to dedicate to this, so here's just the Authors. Look them up, none have ever really disappointed me: Brian Lumley. Robert A. Heinlein. Terry Goodkind. Kelly Armstrong. Edward Lee. Melanie Rawn. Anne Bishop (My favorite series ever is Anne's 'Black Jewel Trilogy.) David Eddings. Richard Layman. Robert Jordan. Tanith Lee ('Biting the Sun' by Tanith Lee is my all time favorite book.)

And yet again, I'm going to stop. I feel like I'm making an Oscar speech, knowing darn well I have so many more people to acknowledge, but getting signaled off the stage after 3 minutes...It would be impossible to list all of the Authors and Books I like, but this gives you a good idea.
