I'm not going to bore you with the usual bio stuff that you read here. Sure I could tell you how I sprang from humble beginnings and a poor family working on a dirt farm in South Georgia but it just wouldn't be true. What I can tell you about me is that music is one of the rare things in life that I get real enjoyment from. I love it more when I see other people having a good time from it. So having that in mind I set out to put together a country band.
Now, my only downfall is that I tend to be a little to picky and try to make things to perfect. That's MY downfall. For you, who might come to see us perform, it's going to be a great thing. Through trial and error I've managed to team up a group of guys with so much talent that I would not hesitate to put them up against anybody out there. The collective talent of this band tells me that we should be making thousands of dollars everytime we take the stage. But that's not why we do it. The guys that make up this band are dedicated to playing country music, playing it well, and having a damn good time doing it.
The winds of change have been blowing for this band but things are starting to align. Jon Keith, our drummer, and myself have managed to stay the course from the very beginning. Jeff Marcus is now our bass player. He's smooth and steady as long as you feed him a little Beam & Coke every now and then. We're looking to fill in some spaces but it's coming together pretty quick.
I'd like to mention that we have a couple of what I believe to be the most talented musicians in the State of Georgia playing with us, Steve Allison and Mark Van Allen. Both of these guys "major" in pedal steel but swap to guitar and vocals as needed. Both of them have completely different styles but are pretty matched in the talent department. You can always see one of them on stage with us every weekend.
Well there you have it. That's who we are and what we do. Not much more I can say about it. We've got a full schedule and we're adding more each day. You'll notice that we repeat the same places pretty frequently. There's a reason for that. Satisfaction. We hope to see you out on the road real soon.
You'll see that we've added a couple of videos of some recent performances. I apologize for the dark pictures. We're definately not professional photographers. Also be sure to check out all of our pictures.
