About Me

I got involved in electronic music around '99. As an incoditional free party assistant I started loving the underground rave kind of sound, far from comercial bullshit.
On those days bcn soundsystems like Tasmaniac, Insomnis, Acidosis, Acid Rain, Victimas del Tekno, Havin' It & High Voltage were a a big influence for me. Some of 'em were techno oriented but I was really in the acid sound that was coming over from London.
Tasmaniac was the first bcn recordshop to bring all that music, acid labels like Smitten, Stay Up Forever, Routemaster, Bionic Orange, Infected...
I was so excited with the scene that I decided to open a website called http://ir-a.net/teknivals. I used to put all the info related with this great scene. You could find Art, Djs biographies, Party pics, Music and lots of links to underground related sites. The website was the first spanish site rave oriented. After 2-3 years the scene became very big and I decided to stop the info about free parties because I then thought it was spoiling the scene because people who went there weren't respecting the job done by soundsystems.. I closed the site in 2003.
At begining of 2003 I bought my own Dj equipment and started buying records. My style has been polished and nowdays I mix a variety of techno, hard techno to acid getting the thing moving on! ;))This is how Teknivals Crew was born. A full on acid techno soundsystem that tries to maintain a good vibe always.
We make family parties because rave scene over here is a little bit spoiled (due to massification). Some people have lost respect to things: nature, people, even to themselves!
We've just bought a new domain and we are working to start a new website, http://www.teknivalscrew.org
