Carl’s love for music came at a young age but electronic music grabbed him when he started high school. He started to listen to rap music at first, grabbed by the electronic rolling beats. Over the years he started listening to various styles of harder electronic music, until he was 14. He was then introduced to house and trance music when his neighbour gave him mix tapes of various clubs that he went to like Cream. After Carl had his 18th birthday he started to travel to clubs like Godskitchen, these cross genre clubs really influenced Carl. He started following DJ’s like Mauro Picotto and Ricardo Ferri. The influence also showed when he got his first pair of decks; Carl played a mix of hard dance and techno up until 2002 when he then started to focuses mainly on techno. After getting hooked on loop based music Carl started to experiment with production packages like Cubase.Carl then decided that he wanted to become a sound engineer and with no qualifications did a C.P.D in the music industry first at L.I.P.A in Liverpool.
