I am from Oakland, CA originally. I left home and migrated to Louisiana for college at Louisiana Tech University. I then left the DIRTY SOUTH to move to cold St. Louis in the midwest.
I started my own business with Mary Kay Cosmetics in August of 2001, and in August of 2005 I started my own massage practice called Satin Hands Massage Therapy. I am the publicist for Brian Owens of Mojonesmusik one the hottest new vocalist in the area. I am a very outgoing person that loves to go to concerts, poetry readings, plays at the black rep, and intellectual conversation. An evening of fun could be a night at Dave & Busters, a movie, dinner, or a game of cards or dominoes at home, take your pick.
I am a member of that eloquent, illustrious & exquisite Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Big ups to the ladies of crimson and cream oo-oop. I like to meet positive, energetic people who want to leave their mark on this world. We were born with a purpose by GOD and if you don't what that purpose is then you have some soul searching to do. I truly know what GOD has blessed me with & in turn I pass those blessings on to others. We are here to be servants, and not waiting around to be served. Until we learn how to love unconditionally this world will continue to be a crazy chaotic place because it's easy to love someone when they love u back, when they're treating you right, but what happens when they begin to bark at you & look like a dog to your face? They test your patience, faith, and character all because they have an evil spirit in their soul. Can u love them the way God loves you and loves us all? Can u forgive them as God forgives us all, time and time again? It takes courage to step up and be the bigger person, but as a Christian it's expected of you. Just read Galatians 5:22 Christians have to wear many hats that change all the time and GOD will not put more on you than you can bear. He will deliver you as long as you bear the storm and know that the trying of your faith worketh patience James 1:2-5.
When you reach an obstacle, turn it into an opportunity. You have the choice. You can overcome and be a winner, or you can allow it to overcome you and be a loser. The choice is yours and yours alone. Refuse to throw in the towel. Go that extra mile that failures refuse to travel. It is far better to be exhausted from success than to be rested from failure.
