Andrea Broussard

Who is Andrea Broussard? A fantastic question indeed. From the outside, you may hear some say she is stoic and reserved, a hard nut to crack. Others may say she is warm and whimsical with eyes full of magic and mirth. Still others may find her dark and moody, with a propensity for melancholic brooding. It is all true. Every last bit of it. From the inside, Andrea is a stirringly complex and mysterious person. She is often perplexed by the intensity of her own emotions. She definitely broods. She definitely cares alot. She takes pride in her healing capacities, her knack for being a quick study, her sharp wit. She has often had a heavy heart. Her most troubling concerns in life center around (1) lack of harmony in relationships, (2) lack of direction, accessibility, or clarity in regard to her purpose or work in the world, and (3) her failure to measure up to her own ridiculously demanding personal standards of authenticity and integrity. In other words, she puts a whole lotta pressure on herself. She often doubts her own way of doing or being. She is sometimes passive, like a pushover. Other times, she is fully empowered, confident and capable of taking control of a situation. She values deep connection and is comfortable relating one on one, although she harbors dreams of being a public persona and influencing large groups of people. She has been known to successfully lead groups of people. She has a natural knack for language, especially written. She is able to function as a channel when writing, speaking, or singing, and she thinks it's probably best for her to keep quiet until she feels that mysterious force come over her, moving her to verbalize/vocalize from an inspired place. Andrea is brave. She will go into the deepest, darkest places inside herself (and others) to discover what is really there. Unshakably and undeniably, she values and practices the art of knowing herself. She trusts experience over theory to inform her about the world and the human experience. She loves to learn about herself. She loves to know about herself. She loves to measure her personal growth. She can get severely hung up on criticism and judgment. She needs alot of validation and encouragement. She is convinced she can do something great in the world, and yet she doubts it. She is most challenged by her own lack of certainty. She is full of love and kindness, though she has yet to see this. She places significant value on generosity, yet judges that she fails miserably in this arena. She can be easily angered or frustrated. She has alot to give, and she is only just beginning to learn this. She makes a valiant effort to re-member love, praise, and gratitude for all of it. She senses this is probably the most significant choice in life.
