I-Rob Audio crew is an Italian music project born in 2005 composed by Roberto Clementi electronic music producer, remixer and live performer and Roby Dj young dj and art director (since the age of 14) from House on the rocks electronic music festival (operative in the middle of Italy).
Roby Dj started to organize some club nights at a couple of country house and secret location around the adriatic coast.
Clementi began early with a small Italian label called Ldp and now work with the new “undercut-records” founded by S.Russo (mas collective) with other artist as Margot (Pepe and Giaga from Cocorico’), Southern Alliance (autist rec) (kriss and Limo), Nuel, Avus (border community) .
They meet and immediately they decided to start with this new adventure and they called I-rob audio crew because both are called Roberto and in italian lenguage plural was born i-rob.
Roby is a technical ad extrovert dj, he always moving during the dj set and you can feel a lot of energy in the club.
Clementi came from the world of electronic music and experimental and apply his technique to what is the dancefloor.
The prerogative now is to create something different from the usual musical standard, they are tired of all the same tracks and always we are looking for new sound and innovative dance music.
The first label to notice their talent as producers was tenax recordings (Alex Neri) after that Luca Bacchetti knew casually I-rob and was immediately impressed by their sound, He decided to remix one of their works called “Breeze” which has been much appreciated in underground movement.
They do not like the definitions that are given to the music as: “minimal”, “techno”, they think that their music is only house and that sometimes the names lead discrimination to djs.They play together using roby dj a console and Clementi live with the computer and midi controller, during their live set, you can feel a certain journey that accompanies the evening because they hate music meaningless.
