Alessandro Stefanio aka Dj Buck nasce a Maglie, Puglia. Sin da piccolo ha sempre dimostrato uno smodato interesse per la musica, in particolare per quella elettronica. Parte da Otranto il suo iter musicale, la consolle lo vede protagonista già dal 1990 sulle scene di feste di compleanni dei suoi amici e, successivamente, in giro nei locali della provincia Leccese. Dal ’95 al 98 lo vediamo impegnato a più largo spettro, dietro le consolle di alcuni dei più prestigiosi locali della provincia: il Ciack a Lecce lo vede protagonista tutte le domeniche pomeriggio al suo rinomato After T. Nel ’98 si trasferisce per motivi di studio a Rimini, dove ha la possibilità di approfondire le sue conoscenze nel campo e di aprire le sue vedute a quel panorama musicale ben noto a tutt' Europa, e che in quegli anni era al culmine del fermento e dell’evoluzione musicale di successo. Molto presto comincia anche all’interno di questo nuovo ambiente a farsi largo tra le proposte contemporanee e a farsi conoscere in alcuni dei locali all’epoca più in voga come il Cellophane e l’Ecu. Nel 2000 è il tanto ambito Cocoricò a conoscerlo, apprezzarlo e a farne in brevissimo tempo il suo resident il sabato sera. Dal 2001 lo vediamo impegnato dietro questa prestigiosa consolle in apertura al Dj italiano più famoso: Ralf e al fianco di alcuni dei più noti artisti del panorama musicale house. In questi anni ha inoltre l’opportunità di girare l’Italia, suona nei locali e nei club di Marche, Abruzzo, Emilia Romagna, Calabria, Basilicata e della sua tanto amata Puglia. I suoi dj set sono caratterizzati da una commistione di stili underground, deep, house e techno nei quali si riconosce appieno la sua firma....Particolari e affascinanti le sue aperture che si distinguono per le sonorità dub e deep che rendono l’atmosfera musicale intima e unica nel suo genere. Attento alle nuove scoperte e sempre alla ricerca di nuove atmosfere. Ultimamente i suoi set e le sue produzioni sono caratterizzati dalla presenza di ritmiche legate alla propria terra di appartenenza, contraddistinte da groove ispirati a canti popolari Salentini quali tarante e pizziche . Da qualche anno i suoi progetti non sono più limitati ad ottenere una consolle dietro cui suonare ma vertono anche nella produzione di tracce con la collaborazione di alcuni amici e colleghi come i Margot, Limo, the Southern Alliance, Kriss, Frankie Giotta.----------------------------------------------------- --------BIOGRAPHY------------------------------------------- -----------------Alessandro Stefanio aka DJ Buck was born in Maglie, Puglia. From an early age, he had always demonstrated a great interest in music, especially for electronics one. His musical process starts from Otranto, the console wiews him as a protagonist since 1990 on scenes of celebrations of birthdays of his friends and then around the Lecce’s county. From'95 to 98 we should see him committed to wider spectrum, behind the console of some of the most prestigious clubs of the county like the Ciack in Lecce that made of him the protagonist of every Sunday afternoon at his famous After T. In '98 he moved to study in Rimini, where he had the opportunity to deepen his knowledge in the field and to open its views to the music scene well known to every European countries; Rimini in those years was infact at the height of turmoil and of musical success. Very soon hi began even within this new environment to take off among the contemporary proposals and make history in some of the premises at the most fashionable as the Cellophane el'Ecu. In 2000 the Cocoricò was interested to him, and the club appreciated him in a very short time his resident on Saturday evening. Since 2001 we see him committed behind this prestigious console at the opening of some of the most famous italian Djs: Ralf and others best known artists of musical house. In recent years he has also the opportunity to shoot the Italy, playing in local clubs and the Marche, Abruzzo, Emilia Romagna, Calabria, Basilicata and Puglia. His DJ sets are characterized by a mixture of styles underground, deep, house and techno in which fully recognizes his signature. Buck’s openings are distinguished for dub and deep sounds that make the musical atmosphere intimate and unique.He pay attention to new discoveries and always looking for new atmospheres. His productions are characterized by the presence of rhythmics linked to their land belonging, marked by sounds groove inspired by folk songs from Salento like tarante and pizzicas.
