Saturday, June 21st, 2008. 12:12pm - En Route from Chicago to Detroit.
The show was good last night. Alchemist spun afterwards. Shout out to Treatz for checkin on me and DTP Mike Jones (not from Houston) for comin thru the show! I saw the good, the bad, and ugly at the end. Matter fact I heard stories of the nasty in the morning. LOL Yea...
Friday, June 20th, 2008. 3:23am - Cleveland, Ohio.
Today was our day off. I tried to get my editing on for AllHipHop but it is difficult to focus when you have 9 dudes on their own agendas on one bus. We only have one room to share for shower and in 88-keys case: the ethernet. So he pretty much took over the room all day...tho I doubt he knew he did. We all went to the Tower Center Mall and I tried to get my nails done but these people told me it was a 45 minutes wait...well guess what it became over an hour and still waiting. I proceed to leave and they were telling I could be next....Errr NO! I gots to go! The guys were leaving. Me, Hines and Aceyalone went for some sushi which was great. I had ITIS! I took a nap. I went back into workmode tho transfering footages takes forever so we watched a bootleg of "Iron Man" which Tim, the road manager had AND scratched it, so voila...it went bogus on us during the action scenes. SUCKS! I'm here now checking this youtube that 88 put up on his blog on the Urb Magazine website:
For more, CHECK 88-Keys BLOG HERE !!
Wednesday, June 18th, 2008. 11:23pm - Baltimore, Maryland.
The show went kool...the venue, Rams Head Live, was nice and clean. Didn't get time to go to no hotel so I showered at the venue. It is what it is...I had my domintatrix boots on woohoo. *WHIPS YOU* yah! but umm...besides that, Alchemist hooked me up! He is really good at this collage thing. Look:
Wednesday, June 18th, 2008. 2pm - On the Road Between Vermont and Maryland.
Yesterday was my birthday and the guys were great to me. (despite of me being in a bad mood) The show was damn hyper. I think the crowd was way younger. I really liked the venue...the new Highland in Burlington, Vermont....I stayed in my bunk a lot after the show, fell asleep and we were off to the next town. I've got bad cramps (ladies U know what it b like!).
And That's Evidence from Dilated People In the Back trynna Steal My Shine Shunn!
Monday, June 16th, 2008. 2:54am - Philly, PA.
New York was great, wet, and over now... The show was cut short again for 88..sometimes that's how it goes. Rockwilder, DJ Scratch, Bilal, my boy Steve from AllHipHop, and my boy Erick LaPeau, all showed up for support. The crowd was hyped. I had one of the best sleep so far...and it must have been the best hotel we've stayed in so far as well. Unfortunately, I missed the after-party with DJ Babu and 88-Keys spinning because I was exhausted. I've also missed having company cuz of it. But ur body has it's own mind and takes over ur plans. On Saturday, we all headed to Alchemist's crib. I filmed for AllHipHop while they created some songs together. I left like 2am on Sunday. Oh not to mention that I got rained on because I've spent most of my afternoon trying to find a " Fisheye Lens" for my camera. If U know about video equipment in NY, u know u HAVE to go to the Jewish owned store called B&H...and jews don't open on saturdays! Sucks for us. So it went from drops of rain to straight pouuuring rain like a fish in a tank pouuuring! I was heated. (sidenote: i saw Maino at some City Hall outdoor concert).
So Sunday, we were off to Philly from NY. Why the power generator stopped working again!!! We spent 2-3 hours without A.C. and some of our food went mush (again). Talk about survival...(ok ok I know...childrens in the third world dont even got clean water...but still! I love air conditionning!) For Philly, I purchased a new outfit for the show to enhance the act. It worked! Philly is beautiful...I like this one block..it's lovely...don't know what it's called? And the sneakers are off the hook! My annual birthday party in New York got canceled for the first time in 5 years. I did outsourced an "event planner" this year but I guess after 3 months, he has failed to deliver. Fuck it, I will celebrate it on the road. I don't like to say that he was a liar cuz things did not add up at the end but a lot of his ways of dealings made him look VERY unprofessional. Plus karma is a reeeal bitch. People have NO idea! Moving on...Today, we've got a day off and shall be traveling all day to Vermont. Traveling with people and being around them on a daily basis, is quite interesting cuz U get to see these men's soft sides...annoying sides...what makes them tick, etc. Kinda like an MTV Real World show. The road will also make you somewhat lonely and make you connect with people you wouldn't usually connect with. Quite funny. To be continued...
Friday, June 13th, 2008. 4:48am - Roaoke, Virginia.
We've stopped at a hotel for a few hours to shower. Me, Evidence and Hines went to work out. That shit did kick my ass. But I'm ALIVE!! yesss...so big up to Kanye for posting about 88's mixtape!! Yay! ;) We are leaving in an hour to NY...I can't wait to see both of my puppies.
Thursday, June 12th, 2008. 6:33pm - Somewhere still.
We've got pretty reviews for the show we did in Austin. Check this blog !
And yes MONDAY, my bday party is ON! it's a private but will be popping. THX.
Thursday, June 12th, 2008. 4:19pm - On Tour Bus @ Some Truck Stop from ATL to NYC.
Atlanta was quite bitter sweet. Show wise, I've learned that not all shows will always be sold out. Even for huge artist like R. Kelly. I remembered on my first ever tour, R. Kellz had troubles in certain towns in selling the tickets so they had to cancel a few dates. Well in this case, the ATL venue was barely half full. They were a cool crowd but ain't nuttin like a packed house. I was really happy to see my friends like Big Al, 4-IZE , Jimmy, Dorian, and Linx Kanek, that all came thru to support. That was dope. My highlight of the night night must have been...THE FOOD! First off, during the day, 88 went to Gladys Knight's restaurant and brought me back this chicken sautee...BANGING! Thennn, after the show, we went to Thomas...Now that was quite DELICIOUS! Kudos to DJ Babu for the treat. We are now on our way up north. People are anxious to get to New York in this bus. Why oh why the fuse of our power generator blew out!! Sucks when there's no A.C., and when the fridge put our food into mush, and when there's no Wi-FI, and there's no TV. Yah. Oh Good News!! Kanye West blogged about 88-Keys and Dilated People on his site and also posted Evidence's new video "Mr. Slow FLow"! yay EV.
Wednesday, June 11th, 2008. 4:25am - On The Road On the Way to ATL.
Found a YouTube of this :
Tuesday, June 10th, 2008. 8:20pm - Monroe, Louisiana.
Day Off. We are parked by the Courtyard Marriot Hotel and right next to it there's Applebees (checked) and..the MALL (checked duh!)!!! I bought things that I needed and then some. Just some fly shit. Earlier today we was at a "Truck Stop" and this lady had this 3-legged dog. She had a Papillion breed...just like mines. I missed Simba then and there because her dog climbed on me just like mines. I'm going to watch the game in a bit. Lakers better do something!
Tuesday, June 10th, 2008. 1:35am - Austin, Texas.
It was a great crowd tonight at Emos'. I think we all dealt with technical difficulties but we freestyled our asses off to entertain cuzzz the show must always go on! Plus me and 88 didn't get to do a soundcheck cuz we all had to do an in-store performance. That was interesting. I had sushi today, it was the bomb! I can't find my DVDs on this bus and it sucks cuz I wanted to watch my movies while the boys entertain their new "friends", fans, whatever u wanna call them...its a PARTY! they do make me feel a little uncomfortable tho so I just disapear in my bunk. Just talking on the phone. ;p Bout to doze off. *peace*
Monday, June 9th, 2008. 12:25am - Dallas, Texas.
A Billie...A Billie..A Billie. Spread the word! And why the fuck the Lakers lose? Boooo...Ya'll wuz sooo damn close! sheesh. But ummm on the real...who the fuck is Juelz Sinatra? He claimed to have met me in New York thru Craig David and that Wyclef's assistant was there. WTF!! Ok rewind.
This white kid with a couple chains showed up at the House of Blues, backstage, in our dressing room, looking for Alchemist with 6 bodyguards and a bunch of chicks. We thought....ok. Maybe he is a drug dealer or one of these wealthy kids that rap or have a record company. Bread is bread. But when we went back to the bus to google his "companies"...NOTHING. Come ONNNNN! Everything is searchable if ur about ur business! Ugh! He dropped more towns and names on all of us. Like son, we're that stupid!!? But we brushed it off and kept it movin to see what he wanted. We still don't know what he wanted. We think he just wanted to look cool. *shrugs* Watever. Join the party homie. Anyway, it's way after the show and they've got some female fans chilling on the bus. SO I was here watching this movie on my laptop...now I am in my bunk typing this entry. Let the boys have their fun, U'Know. Its a house party in this muh.
Sunday, June 8th, 2008. 2:44am - Pecos, Texas.
Look what I found on OkayPlayer.com ! I have now my own set soooo...yeah I should be on the bill too! lol Owell...the check is fine for now...matter fact. Cash Only Accepted!
Sunday, June 8th, 2008. 12:26am - Pecos, Texas.
I am at the Hotel. I miss Simba, my bed at home in NY, my BFF Bonita and my favorite coocoo for coco puff friend. There's a thunder rain with lightning going on outside in which the lady at the front desk said it was the 2nd in this whole year PLUS was laughing about how there was a murder that happened recently (which she said it was its first in 17 years in that town) and the killer is on the loose. Grrrreat. Just great. LOL Anyway, my saturday is gone with all the traveling in the bus. Our show in Arizona was kool but cut short. I was proposed marriage from somebody in the audience. Kool huh? Then, while in New Mexico, we got stopped by cops and they said we were going over speed limit. Found out, the bus driver didn't have the proper liscence to drive a commercial bus....errr ok. So we had to pay some other bus driver $700 to drive 45 miles (til the next state line). Grrreat! Once in Texas...we went to...*hold ur breath*... WALMART!!!!! yesssss! I bought "Semi-Pro" DVD and it was funny. Oh and Alchemist was getting his artsy on by cutting magazine images and gluing them in a abstract way in his sketch book. It's kinda hot! Never would have thought that. Now, I will be getting my editing on for AllHipHop pieces...I think I'm going to break night. We are leaveing at 7am. Thrrrrilling.
Edit: Here's the flic of the "Legal" weed from one of those stores in LA. Dope huh?
Friday, June 7th, 2008. 5:05pm - Tempe, Arizona.
So we have arrived in the desert. It is dumb hot. We had our pit stop /day staying at the Courtyard Marriot Hotel for 2 hours to shower and wash some clothes. I went to the gym. Didn't have time to do my fullfledge workout cuz I had to run to the closest Walgreen. While waiting in the lobby, I met a guy that flew from Chicago that came to Arizona to get his tattoo done. Crazy huh? Gotta Love it! I'm waiting for soundcheck and afterwards, I think 88 wants me to go with him at Macy's real quick. I am excited cuz I've ordered vietnamese food. Tim, the tour manager, think I'm a diva now cuz I won't order from Fat Burger. Ha! O Well! *snaps*
Thursday, June 6th, 2008. 1:45am - Still in Anaheim, CA. (On The Bus Now)
Here's the rundown of the show in Portland, OR w/ Kanye West...88 had better flix!
Thursday, June 5th, 2008. 10:21pm - House of Blues in Anaheim, CA.
The show went well! Nice Venue. Security was extra tight. I had my first solo slot. I got to rock 20 minutes on stage! Can U believe these youngins don't know "I Got U Opin' by Blackmoon??!! WOW. But They loved Talib, Common, Luniz, Tribe, Gangstarr...funny crowd I must say. Before I forget...I jacked this from 88-Keys blog on Urb Magazine...thought it was dope:
Thursday, June 5th, 2008. 10:50am - Los Angeles
We've arrived in LA like 8pm last night, my boys were on their way to a N.E.R.D. event with Zune Microsoft, scooped me up from Hollywood where to tour bus unloaded all LA heads...88 remained on the bus..we met up with their friend whom works with N.E.R.D. as tour manager assistant beforehand, went to get some great sushi (!!), then headed to the venue. At 11pm and change, they denied us due to fire marshall regulations which was a bummer! Their boy was trying to talk them in but my boys ran patience after 5 minutes..*shrugs* So we headed back home...that is my home in Culver City. So I stood up with Darnell all night catching up with what's been going on. I am so proud of them! They just got 2 deals: one for TV show and another one for movie. They r great screenwriters! They've deserved it after all these years of grind. Today, I am going to chill and maybe check Alchemist at his studio then head to Anaheim for the show with Dilated People. Them dudes r so cool. Oh before I leave, my boys introduce their boy named Dan from Detroit...he works at the Tonight Show and was quite interesting. He is a member of one of the weed stores which is totally legal if u got a medical papers and he indeed he had. SO...he is allowed to carry weed at all times. Ain't that ill? I saw that on that HBO show, Entourage, but this was the 1st time I met a real life person with such. ok umm i'm rambling. the end.
Wednesday, June 4th, 2008. 4:17pm - Somewhere on The Road
We are on our way to California...where to start with this entry? So much to say... First off, I feel so blessed to be surrounded by cool laidback talents for this tour. Alchemist is one funny dude. In Portland he accidently left his clothes in a cab! We found his bag then rocked it just to make fun of the situation! I got to chill with Johnny French and he took me to record stores but who buys vinyls anymore??? I did buy some serato vinyls...and this DVD called "Freshest Kids". Google it. It's a must if U love hiphop! The show went really well. For a small crowd..they were super hype. What drugs do ya'll take? I need that in my life!! Anyway, the cream to the cake was when Kanye showed up and performed with us. It was awesome!!! I am going to have the ill footages only on ALLHIPHOP. I think I'm in love with Kanye...me and 88 hung out with him afterwards in his tour bus. His boy D was mad hilarious! Shout out to Sarah!! I knew her way back from Cornerstone. So, I looked at his face, wow....flawless skin. Amazing. I just wanted to lick that chocolatee...yumm...haha just playing..but i'm saying!! I must be horny huh? What do u expect? I'm on the road! So that's all today...I'm leaving U THE FLIC:

Shout out to C-Murder for the hospitality! Anyway, so she was telling me that her boy was goin to get up with Denzel Washington!! Damnn...how can I say no to that? But alas, my body was tired and shut down on me! Can't fight ur system! I had to reboot son! hehehe....Oh and I will upload some personal New Orleans footages a.s.a.p. on YouTube so U can see why it was soo fun. First I gotta get going with this Sean Bell story... Thursday, May 22nd, 2008. 11:29pm - New York
More bad news...the special piece I've been busting my assets for the past couple weeks won't be ready til Monday. I can't tell U what happened but I can tell U that while I will be in New Orleans this weekend. U will see me editing the footages. Tommorow I will be a muse to a painter. Should be interesting. Then head to meet my Hawaiian girl, Vivi. I think she wants me to meet this publicist possibly to help my DJ career. Yes! believe it or not, DJ's have P.R.'s too!
Thursday, May 22nd, 2008. 6:24am - New York
People don't understand why I'm up at this time. Newsflash! I'm a night person...I DJ at night, go to the studio at night, just vibe well at night, so therefore 6am is my bedtime.
I had a bad night with my set at China 1, no excuses for it but yes it does happen. I didn't mean to but my nasty diva side came out when people approached me. I just wanted to be left alone. I actually hated the venue. I believe the restroom pipes were just beside the tiny dj booth in the corner...so u can imagine the interesting smell that came out from it! I want to apologize to the people. I wasn't my 100%.
And by the way, the much hyped about Biggie tribute party was...sort of a flop! It was held at Tillman's....a small venue yet, it was barely anbody there. Owell. The thought was dope tho! Alas now, I shall get some rest. Today: AllHipHop piece to be edited a.s.a.ppppp! Oh there's gym too and then regular life stuff like cleaning my coming in-and-out in a rush messes. *sigh* Gotta do it! I spoke to Ray J earlier...looks like we are goin to go ahead to do the sex tape! ;) To be continued...
ha! jussss kidding...or am I??
Wednesday, May 21st, 2008. 2:53pm - New York
Wow...hectic hectic. For a moment I felt like a slave to my dreams because I didn't allow myself to have real rest. I'm talking about how getting less than 3-4 hours of sleep ain't no REAL rest! Or even that nap while commuting...that close-my-eyes-for-a-sec in the dressing room ain't no REAL rest. Been working on this AllHipHop piece heavy! It was emotional at times. Plus been back in the studio with Mr. Fingaz. If u don't know who he is, google him! He's produced many hits! I shall be writing to these new tracks he's blessed me. I had a show last night at Drum's with 88-Keys...by the way he was featured on Kanye West's Blog! PROPS! Lots coming up for him...real promising. I have to edit and finalize this AllHipHop piece, should be up on their site tommorow, in the media section. Please don't kill me if it's not, I am doing my best peoples! Expect a lot of media attention on it! Besides that I have to DJ tonight at China 1 with Big Kap and Mello!! Come thru! On my list once again. [email protected] PEACE!
PS: Sending my love to my favorite whore...you know who U are!! ;)
PS 2: Here's a preview of the piece. Stiil shot of one of the Sean Bell Official T-Shirt:
Monday, May 19th, 2008. 12:52am - New York
What a weekend! I can say right now, I am so greatful to be alive! Saturday, despite the rain, the floor was packed at Club Element and people were getting busy! I had some technical problems with the equipment but it didn't stop me from rockin it! When I was done, shortly after, I headed out to check out my boy Erick Lapeau @ Mansion's. That place was crawling from outside in. Sunday, I woke up late, watched the Celtics beat the Cavaliers on TV. It was a close one! Good game! Then helped my friend around. I just got home! Blessed. For the next two weeks, my schedule will be bananas cuz of me going away for the month of june for tour. I have a photoshoot for promo then possibly international ad campaign, a show on Tuesday with 88-keys, parties to DJ, going to New Orleans next weekend for AllHipHop, and more. It's cram time!
PS: Here is one feedback I've received on Facebook!
and this was the crowd on Saturday!
See More Pictures!
Yes I hate this picture but am accepting it's me in a raw...WORKING SON!
Saturday, May 17th, 2008. 8:13am - New York
It's bright and sunny. Gorgeous day! I just got home after a night of fun times. So I've accomplished wrapping up, well almost this segment for AllHipHop.com. It's so much to do, and time sensitive. By 10pm-ish we were done. I then went to the Stoli Hotel event. It was held at this huge warehouse that was transformed into a party house. Surprisingly, Mister Mariah (Nick Cannon), impressed me with his deejaying skills. I really thought he was one of those phoney celeb-DJ's. His musical selection was descent and knew how to mix as well. No sign of Mariah tho. But who cared when all liquors were free and the appetizers were flowing in and out! I did see dude from Ocean 11, Don Cheadle, at the party. Also my sexy friend, Neffy (she's on my top myspace friends list), and her friends. I proceed to hump her. ;)
I ended up hanging out with DJ Get Live and the promoter "O" for the rest of the night whom I have just met at that event. They were really cool. Get Live had to DJ at Taj on 21st street at 2am til closing. He showed me mad love. Probably shout me out 50 times during his set! Patty Laurent, a legendary NY promoter, was feeling nice! She was on the mic and became a host for the last hour! Hilarious woman. 18 years of experience...can't tell her nada! I saw Aasim from Bad Boy...he was so sexy as usual. Nice body. "Make Love In The Club" by Usher comes to mind when I saw him! Ha! Anyways...Get Live ripped a hole at the party...he REALLY made the party hype. No exagerrating! Ask somebody! Afterwards, we went to cafeteria. It was awesome. I had a ball! Tonight, I am spinning for 3 hours at Element!! I've been prepping for this. Come thru B4 Midnight and get in for FREE on my list. (RSVP at [email protected] ). It's nice outside so...No excuses! Holla! ;)
Friday, May 16th, 2008. 5:44pm - New York
I am exhausted. Tho I am still alive so therefore I will still get up my ass and work. I have to cover Maino for a special segment for AllHipHop.com. I've produced it and I am going to finish it. Chuuch. I will be going to this party where Nick Cannon will be deejaying tonight. I am sure the paparazzi will be there too looking for Mariah..on Fire! *hears Leeeave Britney Alone!* I might stop by Touch...right Frank? or Prime, right Schuller? or Marquee, right Lapeau? and it don't stop,...and it don't quit..ahahaha.....*faints twice*
Friday, May 16th, 2008. 11:09am - New York
There's one thing I hate and It's unreliable friends. If you changed plans, just let me know. This whole avoiding game is stupid. I rather you just call and tell me, something came up cuz wasting my time is just the worse. I live my life out as much as I can and allow myself to because I want to know that at the end, I've lived and tried but by any means, my time is limited to enjoying life and advancement, don't be selfish. Treat people the way U would want to be treated. I am in no way perfect but I try to better myself.
Friday, May 16th, 2008. 3:24am - New York
Tonight (Last Niiight) I went to this LRG/ Courvasier party and Just Blaze was deejaying. It was somewhere in L.E.S. and why was the spot, soooo steaming hot...not hot as music but yeah...people were sweating all over. And all I got was 2 glasses in a box..no alkie...owell thx for the freebie! All the complex gift bags were gone. LOL I had my puppy Simba...such a whore..kissing every stranger...kinda remind me of men...U tell him to sit and he wants to run wild. Classic. I am craving for some...cake...! ;) Anyway, I saw my homie Omen..great producer. Met new people from VP records aka the place where all ur fave reggae songs are from! It was a nice a little chilly evening. *cake* I am obcessed. Oh and did I tell u facebook is the shiiiit? Yah.
ps: this was my boy, eko's wedding cake! sweeeet! congrats on ur marriage!

Now that you know the answer, I have another question; What are you Waiting for? Procrastination is one of the biggest killers of dreams and you must not fall victim. Master Your Emotions!

Good Morning my good folks and Happy Monday.... This week we're going to concentrate on our good friend Emotions....
Emotions is a tricky guy, sometimes he makes us feel good, and sometimes he makes us feel bad... For the most part when he makes us feel good he's doing a great job, but sometimes he's a liar... especially when he tries to make us feel bad for no reason. The only way we can have a good relationship with him is to take control... So starting today you need to Master your Emotions... Once you fully take control, you'll realize how much that dude Emotions was misguiding you.. But it's all good! As long as you take control NOW!!, you'll be alright
-Ash'Cash

"Do not let your emotions take over. But do use them and your inner strengths when you feel your weakest, and you may discover a power you did not realize you had."

"A man who is master of himself can end a sorrow as easily as he can invent a pleasure. I don't want to be at the mercy of my emotions. I want to use them, to enjoy them, and to dominate them."
-Oscar Wilde

"False happiness is like false money; it passes for a long time as well as the true, and serves some ordinary occasions; but when it is brought to the touch, we find the lightness and alloy, and feel the loss."
-Alexander Pope

"I think that everyone has a choice in every difficult situation. The thing with anger is that it invades your thoughts in such a way that you forget that you have those choices and your emotions take control."
-Jim Medlock

"Think about any attachments that are depleting your emotional reserves. Consider letting them go."
-Oprah Winfrey

"The key to success is to keep growing in all areas of life - mental, emotional, spiritual, as well as physical."
-Julius Erving

"If I feel depressed I will sing. If I feel sad I will laugh. If I feel ill I will double my labor. If I feel fear I will plunge ahead. If I feel inferior I will wear new garments. If I feel uncertain I will raise my voice. If I feel poverty I will think of wealth to come. If I feel incompetent I will think of past success. If I feel insignificant I will remember my goals. Today I will be the master of my emotions."
-Og Mandino

-Charles F. Kettering quotes

"If you develop the absolute sense of certainty that powerful beliefs provide, then you can get yourself to accomplish virtually anything, including those things that other people are certain are impossible."
-William Lyon Phelps

"Live by what you believe so fully that your life blossoms, or else purge the fear-and-guilt producing beliefs from your life. When people believe one thing and do something else, they are inviting misery. If you give yourself the name, play the game."
-Unknown

"Remind yourself regularly that you are better than you think you are. Successful people are not superhuman. Success does not require a super-intellect. Nor is there anything mystical about success. And success doesn't based on luck. Successful people are just ordinary folks who have developed belief in themselves and what they do. Never -- yes, never -- sell yourself short."

Don't give much thought to yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow, live in the moment, and trust that your existence has meaning even when the world seems to be all blind chance and chaos. When life lands a hammer blow in your face, do your best to respond to the hammer as if it had been a cream pie. Are you Responsible?

Today's Daily Word is dedicated to responsibility. Sure there's a lot of excuses and reasons why you do what you do, and who's to say what you're doing is wrong, but at the end of the day you have to take responsibility for your actions as well as your life...

-Bob Moawad

MAY 21ST

Pay yourself First...

Aiight ya'll, In continuing on our theme from yesterday, today's Daily Word is dedicated to what you do once you Get that money... A lot of us out there waste money on things that are not really necessary.. We need to start putting our priorities straight and save for the future.. Don't get me wrong its all good to treat yourself once in a while, but when you treat yourself too often that's when you get in trouble... So if you get paid this week, next week or the week after... Don't forget to PAY YOURSELF FIRST!!! (Just in case you don't know what that means, I mean put some money aside for a rainy day)
-Ash'Cash

"Too many people are spending money they haven't earned, to buy things they don't want, to impress people they don't like."
-Will Smith

"The art is not in making money, but in keeping it"
-Proverb

"Money is only a tool. It will take you wherever you wish, but it will not replace you as the driver."
-Ayn Rand

"People spend more time planning a two week vacation than they do planning their financial future. I was taught as a child to save for a rainy day. Today, people think it's not going to rain. But they're wrong, it's going to pour."
-John Waskin

"You have to pay yourself first, ... You can't let other things get in the way."
-James O'Shaughnessy

"Paying yourself first, means putting yourself as a priority."
-Barbara Steinmetz

"They always say pay yourself first, whether in mutual funds or in the bank, because if you pay yourself last, guess what? At the end of the month there's nothing left. Find some kind of investment you can live with so you can allow yourself to do it. Whether you believe Social Security will be there for you or not, it's still not going to be enough. And more is a much easier problem to have."
-Don Cassidy

MAY 20TH

For the love of Money...

Today's Daily Word goes out to all my paper chasers out there!!! Nine out of ten people will tell you that their primary goal is to make money.. While that isn't an unreasonable goal, that can't but the end all tell all, there has to be more.. Most successful people will tell you that they became successful because they did what they loved to do, and then the money came.. So, Get that Money, Stack ya Bread... But don't forget... "Money makes the world go round but Passion makes your life worth while" (And I just made that up...)
-Ash'Cash

"Money is not the most important thing in the world. Love is. Fortunately, I love money."
-Unknown

"Money, if it does not bring you happiness, will at least help you be miserable in comfort."
-Helen Gurley Brown

"If you want to feel rich, just count the things you have that money can't buy"
-Proverb

"Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money, but you cannot get more time."
-Jim Rohn

"What we really want to do is what we are really meant to do. When we do what we are meant to do, money comes to us, doors open for us, we feel useful, and the work we do feels like play to us."
-Julia Cameron

"You can only become truly accomplished at something you love. Don't make money your goal. Instead, pursue the things you love doing, and then do them so well that people can't take their eyes off you."
-Maya Angelou

"It's good to have money and the things that money can buy, but it's good, too, to check up once in a while and make sure that you haven't lost the things that money can't buy."
-George Lorimer

MAY 19TH

Stop Procrastinating!!!

Ok.. Forget the small talk... Today is going to be the last day that we ever procrastinate on anything that we have to do... Procrastination is the reason why there are millions of talented people but just thousands of successful ones... We can not allow ourselves to lose what we deserve, what we know for sure can be ours by procrastinating and waiting until never to make things happen... So as you start this week, I urge you.... STOP PROCRASTINATING!!! MAKE IT HAPPEN!!
-Ash'Cash

"Be careful because soon 'not now' becomes 'never'."
-Martin Luther

"Procrastination is the bad habit of putting of until the day after tomorrow what should have been done the day before yesterday."
-Napoleon Hill

"Procrastination is, hands down, our favorite form of self-sabotage."
-Alyce P. Cornyn-Selby

"We shall never have more time. We have, and always had, all the time there is. No object is served in waiting until next week or even until tomorrow. Keep going... Concentrate on something useful."
-Arnold Bennett

"Procrastination is the grave in which opportunity is buried."
-Unknown

"Procrastination is the fear of success. People procrastinate because they are afraid of the success that they know will result if they move ahead now. Because success is heavy, carries a responsibility with it, it is much easier to procrastinate and live on the 'someday I'll' philosophy."
-Denis Waitley

"Do it now! can affect every phase of your life. It can help you do the things you should do but don't feel like doing. It can keep you from procrastinating when an unpleasant duty faces you. But it can also help you do those things that you want to do. It helps you seize those precious moments that, if lost, may never be retrieved."
-Napoleon Hill

MAY 16TH

Get Busy Living....

As we get ready to finish off the week, I'd like to ask you to join me In a moment of silence for our brothers and sisters over in China... For those who don't know on May 12th they were hit with a devastating earthquake that killed 50,000 and injured more than 100,000... GET BUSY LIVING!!!! Enjoy your weekend and I'll see you next week, same time, same place
-Ash'Cash

"Life is to be lived. If you have to support yourself, you had bloody well better find some way that is going to be interesting. And you don't do that by sitting around wondering about yourself."

-Pope Paul VI

MAY 15TH

You Better Recognize!!

What's the good word my good people... Today's Daily Word is dedicated to things that you need to recognize... Take heed because a lot of us may suffer or knows someone who suffers from these issues... Pay attention especially to the last quote... We need to start helping each other more, we have to stop thinking that there can only be one of whatever we do....there are 6,810,131,288 people on this earth, so trust me if you help someone else become successful you'll be alright...
-Ash'Cash

"If you blame others for your failures, do you credit them with your success?"
-Unknown

"Desire for approval and recognition is a healthy motive, but the desire to be acknowledged as better, stronger or more intelligent than a fellow being or fellow scholar easily leads to an excessively egoistic psychological adjustment, which may become injurious to the individual"
-Albert Einstein

"People with a scarcity mentality tend to see everything in terms of win-lose. There is only so much; and if someone else has it, that means there will be less for me. The more principle-centered we become, the more we develop an abundance mentality, the more we are genuinely happy for the successes, well-being, achievements, recognition, and good fortune of other people. We believe their success adds to...rather than detracts from...our lives."

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!!

We interupt our regularly scheduled program to give you this very, very, very, important message... This goes out to all the mothers out there, Thank you for your unconditional love, Thank you for your understanding, and a special shout out goes out to your strength, because without it, a lot of us would be lost... In dedication to the Mother's here's a poem titled "A mother's love" written by Helen Steiner Rice.
-Ash'Cash

A Mother's Love

A Mother's love is something that no on can explain, It is made of deep devotion and of sacrifice and pain, It is endless and unselfish and enduring come what may For nothing can destroy it or take that love away . . . It is patient and forgiving when all others are forsaking, And it never fails or falters even though the heart is breaking . . . It believes beyond believing when the world around condemns, And it glows with all the beauty of the rarest, brightest gems . . . It is far beyond defining, it defies all explanation, And it still remains a secret like the mysteries of creation . . . A many splendoured miracle man cannot understand And another wondrous evidence of God's tender guiding hand.
